Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between George St Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Archie Parchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think St Pierre might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Make Smash Ya Tap!. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Parchi fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. St Pierre sprawls well initially but Parchi persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

St Pierre is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Parchi pulls his head out easily.
St Pierre is staying active underneath Parchi, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

St Pierre looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Parchi wants to free his trapped foot but St Pierre is holding on for dear life with his legs.

St Pierre has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Parchi. Oh but St Pierre has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Parchi goes limp - he's gone! St Pierre jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

Chimal shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ueda's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Ueda is working an open guard so Chimal takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Chimal on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Silva wobbles Nawasaki with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Silva dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Nawasaki to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!

Bender changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Li tries to avoid it but Bender manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Li to the ground. Li escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
