The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pendragon feints and as Belfort raises his hands in defense, Pendragon changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Pendragon tries to free his leg and advance position but Belfort is retaining full guard.

Pendragon thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Belfort enables Pendragon to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Belfort manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kaplan.
Kaplan closes the distance and clinches up with Smith, looking for a takedown. Kaplan pushes Smith against the cage but Smith circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

van Greeven lands a big elbow - Quik is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for van Greeven!

Boxer fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hogan has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Boxer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hogan manages to avoid it.
Boxer lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Boxer lands a nice hook to Hogan's body. Hogan takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boxer looks to land a right hand but Hogan moved out of range.
