5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gary Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Din Thomas! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Edson Gomes and Thiago Cunha.

Thomas shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lee's guard. Thomas trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Lee has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Thomas can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Lee is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Thomas slips nicely into half guard.
Thomas is trying to work for a kimura but Lee is defending well.
Lee on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lee tries to get out of the position. Lee is trying to stand.
Thomas frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Lee is working to get back to half guard.
Thomas throws some wild stikes that Lee manages to avoid easily.
Thomas is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Lee can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Thomas is landing with some decent strikes but Lee is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Lee has left one of his arms exposed and Thomas doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Lee screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Din Thomas! Din Thomas tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Robbin Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aze Toro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Nervecell - Psychogenocide. Toro is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hate me or Get DIE tryn' - 50cent. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Toro lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Gracie showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Toro.
Gracie avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Toro throws a right hand that misses
and Gracie counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Toro digs a right hand underneath Gracie's ribcage. Gracie let out a lung full of air as it connected. A right hook to the body lands for Toro.
Gracie tries to score a body lock takedown but Toro shows good agility there to stay on his feet. A quick uppercut on the inside from Toro. Gracie is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though. Gracie trying to control the position but instead, Toro has worked for underhooks and has pushed Gracie into the ropes. Toro is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Toro lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Toro turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Toro manages to end up in side control.

Toro has hold of Gracie's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Gracie seems comfortable defending it but Toro has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Gracie is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Gracie is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Toro couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Aze Toro! During a confident post fight interview, Aze Toro thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.

Silva throws out a loose jab but Progbeniak uses good head movement to avoid it. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Progbeniak uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Silva. A slow jab from Silva misses its intended target.
Progbeniak shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Silva is trying to defend but Progbeniak finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Progbeniak thows a huge punch but Silva dodges it nicely.
Progbeniak decides to return to a standing position.
Progbeniak shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Progbeniak is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Progbeniak hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Kurosaki looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kurosaki shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Postiga manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Postiga controls Kurosaki momentarily but Kurosaki frees himself. Postiga keeping moving, preventing Kurosaki from controlling successfully.

Postiga is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Kurosaki uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Postiga.
Postiga feints a jab promting Kurosaki to slip. Postiga then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kurosaki slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sergio Postiga dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Postiga lands a glancing blow to the side of Kurosaki's head. Postiga looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Postiga throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Postiga changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Kurosaki is looking to take this one to the mat. Postiga has Kurosaki pressed against the ropes.

Postiga lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Kurosaki takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. This has been an exciting period of action! Postiga scores with a jab to the body. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. No joy there for Postiga, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Postiga throws a sloppy head kick and Kurosaki moves out of range easily. Sergio Postiga seems to be getting the better of the standup. Kurosaki keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Sergio Postiga showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Postiga is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Kurosaki rather than just go for the knockout. Kurosaki ducks under a wild hook from Postiga. Postiga ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kurosaki moves away.

Postiga tries to clinch up but Kurosaki circles away and keeps his distance. Postiga thows a body shot but no joy. Postiga lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Postiga has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. A swing and a miss from Postiga. A combination from Kurosaki does no damage. Postiga tries to clinch there but Kurosaki circles away.
Nice uppercut lands for Postiga. That snapped Kurosaki's head back.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kurosaki has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Postiga after a bit of a struggle. Postiga holding his opponent close, against the ropes.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
