Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Nilsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrone Jaxon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nilsson comes into the arena with Zukyun Love by Mini Moni blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Jaxon's choice of entrance music: X Goin' Give iIt To Ya-DMX. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jaxon misses with a straight right. Nilsson scores with a nice strike. Jaxon connects with a body shot that sends Nilsson's belly button to the back.
Jaxon looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Nilsson! Jaxon looking to ground and pound but Nilsson is blocking nicely. Nilsson is in a horrible position here. Jaxon smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Nilsson sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Nilsson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Jaxon motions for Nilsson to come forward. Jaxon throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jaxon digs a good hook to Nilsson's body.

Nilsson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Jaxon is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Nilsson looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Jaxon puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Jaxon looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jaxon connects with a nice short shot to Nilsson's temple. Nilsson is looking to control Jaxon's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Nilsson avoid being mounted? Jaxon moves into full mount! Nilsson won't be happy about that!
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Jaxon cracks Nilsson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sonnen throws a shot from downtown. Bernie moves away and avoids it. Bernie staying out of range there. Bernie lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bernie. Bernie blocks a head kick by Sonnen.
Bernie throws a big shot that misses. Sonnen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Sonnen looks gassed! A looping hook to the body misses from Sonnen. Bernie does a little dance to reset his feet. Bernie uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sonnen. Sonnen chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bernie can pounce on him.

Bernie looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Bernie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sonnen keeps working.

Bernie thowing shots but they're missing. Bernie throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Bernie has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. BOOM! Bernie connects with a massive shot to the dome!

 We're going to have a standup here because Mathew Maynard wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Hicks fails with a takedown attempt. Maynard fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hicks manages to avoid it. Hicks misses with a takedown attempt - Maynard sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Maynard looks to land a combination but Hicks avoids it well. Maynard shoots in looking for a takedown but Hicks manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Maynard's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Hicks keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Maynard. Maynard leaves Hicks with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The crowd cheers as Maynard lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hicks doesn't seem phased though. Hicks looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Maynard wants it to stay on the feet. Mathew Maynard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Maynard throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hicks on the side of the head. Maynard moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Maynard throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Maynard looks to land a combination. Hicks sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Donk. Maynard catches Hicks right on the button with a cross. A combination from Maynard does no damage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A combination from Hicks does no damage. Maynard jabbing away but nothing is landing. Hicks throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Maynard's waist but Maynard gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hicks off to one side. Hicks closes the distance and clinches up with Maynard, looking for a takedown. Hicks pushes Maynard against the cage but Maynard circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Maynard throws a good cross that connects.

Fitzgibbon takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fitzgibbon lands with an uppercut that bounces Kinkeri off the cage and back into range. Kinkeri keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Kinkeri takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Fitzgibbon jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wynd sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Bomb throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Wynd on the side of the head. Bomb fakes the leg kick and cracks Wynd in the body. Wynd looks gassed! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bomb dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Wynd takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Wynd manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Bomb connects with a right hand. Wynd shakes it off. Adam Bomb seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bomb misses with a two punch combination.
Bomb lands a big head kick that sends Wynd tumbling to the mat! Bomb takes a step backwards and waves Wynd back to his feet - he wants the finish!
