Fitzgibbon cracks Volkov with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Fitzgibbon works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Fitzgibbon keeps the fight on the outside. Fitzgibbon ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Fitzgibbon throws a leg kick but Volkov sees it coming and checks it nicely. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mishima misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Case shoots in for a double leg but Mishima sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Mishima lands with a cross. A solid leg kick lands there for Mishima.
Case fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mishima has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Mishima goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Mishima just misses with a punch to the body.
Mishima throws a lazy uppercut
and Case counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Mishima! Case controlling the pace for now. Case cracks Mishima with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Case unloading with bombs! Case content just to control the position here.

Case lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Mishima is squirming around, avoiding Case's attempts to control the action. Case in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

and Bomb counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. A looping hook to the body misses from Bomb. Meridius does a little dance to reset his feet. Bomb on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Bomb looks gassed! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bomb misses with a looping left. Meridius feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Bomb sprawling to the canvas! Bomb rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Meridius finish him?!
It looks like Adam Bomb has been cut. Meridius throws a quick head kick that knocks Bomb silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Meridius is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.

That was a close round but I would say that Abcesso Necrose will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Necrose jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Clarke fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kuukkeli checks it well. Kuukkeli tries to clinch up but Clarke circles away and keeps his distance. Clarke tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kuukkeli was well out of range. Poor timing from Clarke. A bone on bone clash there as Kuukkeli blocks the leg kick.
A slow jab from Kuukkeli misses its intended target. Kuukkeli throws a sloppy head kick and Clarke moves out of range easily. Clarke shoots for a takedown but Kuukkeli saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Kuukkeli jabs at Clarke's body. Kuukkeli throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Kuukkeli looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Clarke in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Kuukkeli is not content to let Clarke control the position. Clarke thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Clarke lands a nice forearm strike. Clarke working away. Clarke wants to control but Kuukkeli is keeping him busy.

Kuukkeli is looking for a sweep. Kuukkeli sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Kuukkeli keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Clarke is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Kuukkeli is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Clarke's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Clarke's back! Clarke manages to reverse the position and now he's in Kuukkeli's guard. Nice work there by Clarke.

Clarke is breathing heavily. Kuukkeli trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kuukkeli accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Clarke wants to stand and escape but Kuukkeli is having none of it. Clarke keeping moving, preventing Kuukkeli from controlling successfully. Kuukkeli looking to sit in guard and control but Clarke gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kuukkeli working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Clarke. Kuukkeli is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Kuukkeli looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kuukkeli misses with a head shot. Clarke uses the momentum to regain guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Clarke is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Kuukkeli is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Clarke shoots in looking for a takedown but Kuukkeli manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Clarke's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Rosenthal looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Holden Rosenthal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rosenthal moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Williams shoots in and bounces Rosenthal off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Williams works over Rosenthal with some ground and pound from guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Williams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rosenthal swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Williams postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Williams wants to control from the top but Rosenthal keeps moving. Rosenthal is working the butterfly guard. That's better than Williams was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Williams controlling from mount. Williams breaks from Rosenthal's wrist control and lands an elbow. Rosenthal in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A nice elbow there by Williams. Williams dominating with strikes here. Williams wants to control the pace but Rosenthal is squirming around nicely. Rosenthal is bucking up trying to escape but Williams cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Rosenthal is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Williams jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Rosenthal is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Rosenthal and Williams has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
