Emelianenko displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Alpha throws out the jab.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayers throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Geissen's waist but Geissen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mayers off to one side.

Mayers moves into range and clinches up with Geissen.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Geissen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Mayers is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Geissen defends well.

Mayers has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Geissen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Mayers had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Geissen defends it easily.
Geissen wants to get up but he can't break Mayers's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Geissen wants to pass the guard but Mayers is keeping the position.

Geissen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mayers has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Geissen has managed to get both his arms back between Mayers's legs - danger averted.

Geissen feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Mayers sprawling to the canvas! Mayers rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Geissen finish him?!

It looks like Sol Mayers has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nice defenses there by Mayers.
Geissen circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Mayers to the canvas! Mayers doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Geissen keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Bamboni shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in McMurdoch's guard.

Bamboni tries to pass the half guard into mount. McMurdoch knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

McMurdoch misses with a hook. Bamboni ducked under it nicely.
McMurdoch lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bamboni throws a leg kick but McMurdoch sees it coming and checks it nicely.

McMurdoch moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Bamboni stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from McMurdoch.

Frank McMurdoch comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well McMurdoch has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Carwin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Carwin wants it to stay on the feet.
Brasi throws a head kick that misses.
Carwin throws a lazy right hand but Brasi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Carwin stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

McClusky lands a big head kick that sends Leads tumbling to the mat! McClusky takes a step backwards and waves Leads back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Leads moves into the clinch successfully.
Leads is still on wobbly legs! Can McClusky finish him?
McClusky is looking for a takedown.
Leads seems to have recovered his senses.

Leads breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Leads moves out of range as McClusky strikes.
Leads takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Some bone on bone action there as Leads checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Leads moves forwards but McClusky connects with a nice, crisp jab.

McClusky fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
McClusky has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
McClusky works Leads's body with a nice hook.

Leads has taken the fight to the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Leads.
Leads just leaning against McClusky, taking a breather.

Leads escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Leads takes a swing at McClusky's ribcage but misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Leads looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
McClusky slips a straight right by Leads.
McClusky misses with a hook. Leads ducked under it nicely.
McClusky lands a high kick!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Leads cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
McClusky swings widly with a right hand
and Leads counters with a nice uppercut.
A decent looking cross lands there for Leads.

McClusky is rocked!
Leads lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in McClusky - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Leads!
