The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis tries for a takedown but Perdatov circles away easily

and Perdatov counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Perdatov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Davis swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Davis has his foot on Perdatov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Perdatov works his way back into a safe position though.

Gracie has chosen Wu-Tang Clan - The Mystery Of Chessboxin as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Gracie misses the shot to the body.
Barba closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Gracie swings widly with a right hand
and Barba counters with a left and a right that stings Gracie.
Gracie scores with a decent looking hook.
Barba moves in looking to clinch but Gracie pushes him off.
Gracie swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Gracie throws a leg kick but Barba sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Gracie tightens his grip and picks Barba up, before dumping him to the ground. Barba manages to land in guard.

Gracie has instead reached around Barba's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Gracie arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bera tries to score a power double leg takedown but Black sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bera somewhat.
Horrible takedown by Bera or perhaps it was just good defense by Black which made him look bad.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Black steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Bera is out on his feet! Black sets himself and nearly takes Bera's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Denard Black!
