The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scissors lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Scissors closes the distance and pushes Duscaw back into the cage. Duscaw prevents a body shot from Scissors. Duscaw tries to land knees in the clinch but Scissors avoids the damage to the body. Duscaw is trying to break the clinch but Scissors is controlling him. Duscaw can't get the takedown.
Scissors wants to get back to striking at distance but Duscaw won't allow it.

Scissors tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Duscaw was well out of range. Poor timing from Scissors. Duscaw is looking to clinch. Scissors keeps the fight on the outside. Duscaw displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Scissors. Scissors shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Custer throws a right and a left that both miss. Dance misses with a takedown attempt - Custer sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Dance misses with a takedown and Custer counters with a stiff right hand. Custer connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Dance bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Custer manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dance moves into full guard.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Custer. Custer stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Custer takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Custer lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Dance tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Custer bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Dance's head backwards. Custer has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Dance shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Custer sprawls well. Custer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dance gets slowly back to his feet. Dance shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Custer as he jumps to the side. Dance dives in and grabs Custer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Custer pushes down on Dance's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bill Dance. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dance takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Dance is rocked! Good leg kick by Custer there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Oh Dance is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Dance is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The fighters circling - Custer throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Custer catches Dance with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Dance forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!

21 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sasha Lakovic! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lakovic avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lakovic goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Matsumato shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lakovic's guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Matsumato pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lakovic is keeping the position for now. Matsumato has gone for a leg lock! Lakovic slips out almost immediately though and dives into Matsumato's guard. Matsumato working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lakovic doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lakovic manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Lakovic throws a big elbow that misses. Lakovic with a flurry of punches that miss. Matsumato avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Matsumato managing to control the position. This has been an exciting period of action! Matsumato is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lakovic got a little sloppy there for a moment and Matsumato has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lakovic has managed to get both his arms back between Matsumato's legs - danger averted. Matsumato utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Matsumato can't keep his opponent in guard - Lakovic advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Lakovic scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Matsumato looking for a kimura from the bottom but Lakovic passes into side control! Matsumato taking a bit of punishment here - Lakovic scoring with strikes. Lakovic working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Lakovic working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Matsumato is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lakovic is looking to take a break and control but Matsumato is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Lakovic throwing shots but missing, from side control. Lakovic looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Matsumato is avoiding damage well.
Lakovic trying to control the position but Matsumato is working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Matsumato tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lakovic wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lakovic trying to control the action but Matsumato is working from the bottom. Matsumato tries to escape but Lakovic is in control. Lakovic working away. Lakovic creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Matsumato sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Matsumato is looking to regain half guard here but Lakovic keeps moving and retains side control. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lakovic tries for a kimura but Matsumato is defending well. Lakovic throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Lakovic scoring with punches and elbows. Lakovic tries to score with some ground and pound. Matsumato controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Matsumato is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Matsumato is trying to improve his position. Matsumato wants to get back to his feet but Lakovic drags him back down. Lakovic scores with a couple of short elbows. Matsumato might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Lakovic is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Matsumato knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's four minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Matsumato's face as Lakovic controls the position. Matsumato tries to bench press Lakovic off him but Lakovic keeps the position. Matsumato manages to work his way to half guard, despite Lakovic's best efforts. Matsumato wants to get back to his feet. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Matsumato looking for submissions off his back. Matsumato looking for submissions off his back. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Lakovic lands a nice short elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Matsumato is not content to let Lakovic control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Matsumato shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Lakovic counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Matsumato throws a series of punches but Lakovic avoids them all with ease. A telegraphed right hand from Lakovic misses the target. Lakovic keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Matsumato. Lakovic defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Matsumato. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hiroko Matsumato. That's going to take a lot out of him. Matsumato on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Lakovic bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Matsumato's head backwards. Matsumato shoots in but no luck this time. Lakovic throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Lakovic misses with a head kick.
Matsumato misses with a takedown attempt - Lakovic sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. No luck for Matsumato with that takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lakovic scores with a push kick. Lakovic throws a chopping leg kick but Matsumato manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Lakovic misses with a double jab.
Matsumato ducks under a wild hook from Lakovic. Lakovic scores with a sloppy right hand. Matsumato should have avoided that one. Lakovic waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Matsumato. Sasha Lakovic seems to be getting the better of the standup. Lakovic looks for the body kick but Matsumato saw that one coming. Matsumato connects with a crisp jab. Matsumato tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lakovic was well out of range. Poor timing from Matsumato. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Lakovic. Lakovic throws a series of strikes that have Matsumato backpedaling.

Hiroko Matsumato seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Matsumato throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lakovic was covering up waiting for the punch and Matsumato finishes the takedown easily into guard. Sasha Lakovic has got the better of the ground game so far. Lakovic is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Matsumato pushes down on Lakovic's leg and manages to get into half guard. Lakovic is doing well to control the position and prevent Matsumato from advancing to side control. Lakovic gets full guard. Lakovic controls Matsumato momentarily but Matsumato frees himself. Matsumato wants to control from the top but Lakovic keeps moving.

Matsumato stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lakovic swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Matsumato preventing the sweep. Matsumato wants to pass the guard but Lakovic is keeping the position. Matsumato won't allow Lakovic to sweep him here. Lakovic working for a triangle but Matsumato defends it easily.
Matsumato postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Lakovic is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Matsumato, into his guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Matsumato is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Lakovic controls Matsumato momentarily but Matsumato frees himself. Lakovic wants to sweep but no luck. Lakovic is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Lakovic takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Matsumato regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Lakovic. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Matsumato is on top in guard.
Hiroko Matsumato has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Matsumato drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lakovic dives on top into guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Matsumato wants to sweep but no luck.
And that's the end of the fight! Sasha Lakovic comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Lakovic has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Headden. Those never looked like landing. A nice inside leg kick there by Headden. That's going to slow Penna down. A swing and a miss from Headden. Headden ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Penna with a poor takedown and Headden counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Headden lands a lovely overhand right. Penna misses with a straight right. Headden misses with a body shot.

Still in the clinch, Headden scores with a nice short uppercut. Headden stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. A nice right hand lands inside from Headden. Headden lands with a short head shot on the inside. Headden lands a right hand that snaps the head of Penna backwards. Headden lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Sinatra manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Bensmock on his heels. He'll look to pass Bensmock's guard now, I'm sure.

30 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raz Matazz! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Matazz scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Matazz checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Matazz closes the distance and clinches. Matazz stalling in the clinch but Denke improves position. Denke crunches a lovely knee into Matazz's ribcage. Matazz prevents a body shot from Denke. Denke has had enough of the clinch but Matazz keeps him there for the moment. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Denke. Matazz using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Denke has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Matazz throws an elbow that misses.

Matazz breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Matazz lands a leg kick that knocks Denke off balance momentarily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Matazz. Raz Matazz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Matazz tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Denke takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Denke misses with a hook. Matazz ducked under it nicely. Matazz tries to land a front kick but Denke steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
That's one minute gone in the round. Denke misses the jab. Denke shoots in but no luck this time. Denke fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Matazz checks it well. Denke wants to clinch but Matazz slips to the side and Matazz counters with a right hand to the body. Matazz slips a jab from Denke. Matazz ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Denke changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Matazz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Matazz is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Matazz sneaks back into half guard. Matazz is pressing down on Denke's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Denke with a flurry of punches that miss. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Matazz lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Denke! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Matazz prevents Denke from getting the reversal. Matazz controlling the position easily from mount.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Raz Matazz hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Denke throws a half hearted mid kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Matazz connects with a solid leg kick. Denke fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Matazz is out of range. Matazz tries to clinch but Denke is having none of it. Denke buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Matazz wants to clinch. Matazz tries to clinch and Denke counters with a straight right hand. Matazz pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. An inside leg kick from Denke misses. Denke shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Matazz pinned against the cage. Matazz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Denke dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Matazz. That did some damage! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Denke closes the distance looking to clinch and Matazz counters with a lovely straight right hand! Denke looks to land a body kick but Matazz moved away. Matazz connects with a high kick. Matazz moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. A big right from Matazz misses. Denke manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Matazz on his heels. He'll look to pass Matazz's guard now, I'm sure. Denke trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Denke postures up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Denke throws a shot to the body.

Denke works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Raz Matazz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Matazz throws a jab but it's blocked by Denke. Matazz takes a swing at Denke's ribcage but misses.

Denke needs to keep his hands up - Matazz had a free shot at his head there. Denke throws a nice outside leg kick. Matazz looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Matazz misses with an uppercut. Matazz scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Denke moves away from the strike by Matazz. Matazz checks the leg kick nicely there.
Matazz lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Matazz forces Denke back against the cage and clinches. Matazz scores with a shot to the side of Denke's head. Denke is trying to trip Matazz. He has hold of a leg but Matazz is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Denke persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Denke wants to control from the top but Matazz keeps moving. Matazz trying to control the position.
Denke working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Karl Denke overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Denke looking to pass the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Matazz working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Denke. Matazz manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Denke manages to get himself to full guard.

Matazz throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Matazz is looking to chop away at Denke's legs. Matazz staying out of range there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Matazz keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Denke staying out of range there. Denke shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Matazz wants to hold on but Denke pushes him away. Matazz is trying desperately to improve position.

Denke landing strikes, looking to finish! Matazz's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Denke breaks from Matazz's wrist control and lands an elbow. Denke thowing shots but they're missing. Denke connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
