1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Leon Leobotas! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Valeri Chadov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leobotas slaps away a takedown attempt from Banks, before circling back to the center of the mat. Banks scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Leobotas is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Banks. Banks shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Banks lands a nice short elbow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Banks sitting and controlling from the half guard. Banks scoring with strikes to the body and head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Leobotas looking for submissions off his back. Leobotas punching from the bottom.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Banks lands a nice short elbow. Banks scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Banks slips a nice elbow through Leobotas's hands, connecting with Leobotas's forehead. Banks has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Banks moves nicely into side control. Banks takes a little break here. Leobotas wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Leobotas tries to strike but it doesn't land. Leobotas throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Leobotas is trying to get back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Banks tries to advance to mount but can't. Leobotas should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Banks is looking to take a break and control but Leobotas is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Banks grinds an elbow into Leobotas's temple. Leobotas striking from the bottom but nothing landed.

Banks looks up at the clock and then as Leobotas takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Banks smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Leobotas is breathing heavily. Banks working away from the top, dropping strikes. Banks scoring with strikes but Leobotas is staying in there. Banks is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Leobotas can do to turn this around? Banks prevents Leobotas from getting the reversal. Banks raining down shots from the mount! Banks scoring with strikes but Leobotas is staying in there. Banks lands a nice shot to the head. Eric Banks overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Leobotas is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Banks lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Leobotas is still in real trouble! Can Banks finish him? A big strike lands for Banks! That's really hurt Leobotas and he's turned his back - Banks keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Banks Jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Norris takes one on the button.
It looks like Chuck Norris has been cut. Nasty throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nasty misses with a two punch combination.
Norris slips a straight right by Nasty. Norris takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. The fighters circling - Nasty throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Nasty fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Norris looks gassed! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nasty cracks Norris with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Norris looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Nasty finish him?
Norris is rocked! Nasty ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Norris's jaw. Norris's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Nasty does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Murphy with the ground and pound from mount. Murphy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Primo is trying to escape the mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Primo is trying to escape the mount.
Murphy is landing with some decent strikes but Primo is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Primo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Murphy on the ground. Murphy trying to control but he's not successful this time. Murphy sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Despite being in the dominant position, Dropkick Murphy just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Murphy lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Murphy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Murphy thows a left - swing and a miss! Victor Primo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A punch combination from Primo misses. Primo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Primo jabbing away but nothing is landing. Primo throws a body punch but Murphy moves out of range. Murphy lands with a nice body punch. Murphy uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Primo. Good leg kick by Murphy there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Murphy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Primo throws a series of punches but Murphy avoids them all with ease. Primo throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A nice inside leg kick there by Murphy. That's going to slow Primo down. Primo misses with a wild body shot. Primo ducks right into an uppercut from Murphy. Murphy throws out a token jab with nothing on it. A cross from Murphy lands. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dropkick Murphy dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Primo doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Primo tries to move into range but Murphy moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Primo moves out of range of the leg kick from Murphy. A clash of legs there as Primo blocks the low kick. Primo walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Primo scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Primo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The fighters circling - Murphy throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Primo connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Murphy's hands. Primo's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Primo duly obliges. This has been an exciting period of action! Murphy catches Primo with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Victor Primo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Murphy misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Primo.

and Murphy counters with a good low kick that Primo was not able to check. Dropkick Murphy seems to be getting the better of the standup. Primo misses with an uppercut. Murphy uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Primo.

Murphy looks to land a combination but Primo avoids it well. Dropkick Murphy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Murphy tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Murphy loads up on a big right hand but Primo slips the punch. Murphy missing with a left hand there. Primo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Murphy cracks Primo with a solid left hand. Primo is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Murphy slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Primo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Murphy is controlling him. Primo looking for a guillotine here but Murphy defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Murphy content to stall in guard here. Murphy lands a couple of decent looking shots. Primo wants to stand up but Murphy is controlling him. Primo controls Murphy momentarily but Murphy frees himself. Murphy landing some decent shots from guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Primo keeping moving, preventing Murphy from controlling successfully. Murphy might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Primo kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Murphy shoots in and bounces Primo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Murphy slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Primo keeping moving, preventing Murphy from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Murphy sitting in guard here, content to control. Primo pushes Murphy off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Primo throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Primo is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Murphy tries to land a leg kick but Primo saw it coming and moves away.
Murphy walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Murphy showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Primo.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Victor Primo. I think Primo has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Petrov shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Pawn's guard. Pawn avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Petrov has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Pawn is proving hard to escape from. Petrov stops Pawn from standing up. Petrov missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Pawn is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Petrov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Petrov postures up in Pawn's guard and throws a big left but Pawn blocks it. Petrov loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Petrov moves into the clinch successfully.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Petrov drops his hands momentarily and Pawn takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Pawn cracks Petrov with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Petrov falls to his knees and Pawn doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flame waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Falasco. Falasco throws a shot from downtown. Flame moves away and avoids it. Pietro Falasco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Falasco misses with a jab, cross combination.

Falasco scores with a crisp jab that stopped Flame in his tracks. A lazy left from Falasco finds it's target. Falasco works Flame's body with a nice hook. Flame seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Falasco shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Flame is backing up but Falasco catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Flame covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight!
