Undercard bout

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aoki Pikachu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Castle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pikachu comes to the cage accompanied by The Pikachu Song. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castle lands a high kick!
A chopping leg kick lands by Castle.
Castle throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Pikachu shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Castle napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Castle tries to buck Pikachu off but Pikachu is having none of it.

Pikachu tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Castle gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Castle is in all sorts of trouble here.

Pikachu is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Castle can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pikachu misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Pikachu really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Castle tries to improve his position but Pikachu has taken his back! Pikachu has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Castle tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Pikachu pushes Castle away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!

Zerka has an Americana. Ytall didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Zerka is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Zerka hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Hagride is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of McFisticus's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take McFisticus's back!

McFisticus wants to control his opponent's hands but Hagride gets his hands free.

Look low, kick high! Evil uses the oldest trick in the book to send mockenmaker tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Evil is absolutely delighted - when mockenmaker wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
