It looks like Dmitry Medelev has been cut. Medelev wants to clinch. Wood comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Medelev crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Wood - the referee stops the clock and Medelev gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Wood. Medelev manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Medelev tries to clinch there but Wood circles away.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gailfus defends it nicely. Gracie fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gailfus avoids it really well and circles away. Gracie avoids the head kick by Gailfus.
Gailfus misses with a body kick. Gailfus throws a body punch but Gracie moves out of range. No luck with that takedown attempt from Gailfus. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gailfus. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gailfus scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Cole is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Argue is controlling him. Cole striking off his back but it's not causing Argue any problems. Cole tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Argue is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Cole is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Cole has escaped and now he's on top! Cole trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Cole postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Argue avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Cole wants to control from the top but Argue keeps moving. Cole stands up and waves to Argue to follow him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cole wants to clinch but Argue slips to the side and Argue counters with a slapping leg kick. Cole throws a combination that misses and Argue counters with a left and a right that stings Cole. Cole gets the takedown into side control. Argue takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Cole moves into full mount! Cole tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Bryn Argue has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ben Cole is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Cole with a couple of short strikes.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chance Johnson! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson misses with a straight right. Muggerud II scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Johnson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. A big left from Johnson misses. Johnson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Muggerud II circles away quickly and effectively. Johnson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. This has been an exciting period of action! Muggerud II throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Johnson fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. The crowd cheers as Johnson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Muggerud II doesn't seem phased though. Johnson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Muggerud II is breathing heavily. Muggerud II dodges the punch combination from Johnson.
Johnson scores with a one two! Muggerud II had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Lawrence Muggerud II has been cut. Johnson misses with the combination.

Johnson cracks Muggerud II with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Johnson postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Muggerud II out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Johnson goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
