The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rios works Beauford's body with a nice hook.
Rios fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Beauford manages to avoid it.
Rios motions for Beauford to come forward. Rios throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Rios has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rios there as he acknowledges the shot.

Rios lands a really nice looking cross but Beauford seems unphased.
Rios sends Beauford crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Rios is motioning to the referee to let Beauford up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A head kick misses from Rios.
Oh Beauford is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rios lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Beauford has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Beauford and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Rios feints and then cracks Beauford's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Beauford down.
Beauford seems to have got his legs back now.
Beauford gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Rios gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
