The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Terra swings away with a body shot that misses
and Dog cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Terra throws a nice looking combination but Dog bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Dog throws a shot from downtown. Terra moves away and avoids it. Terra misses with a body shot.
Caio Terra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dog misses with a body shot.
Terra shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dog as he avoids it easily. Dog lands a two punch combo.
Terra tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dog swivels and escapes. Terra shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Crazy Dog has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caio Terra. Terra ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Terra shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Dog counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Terra thinking. Terra misses with a takedown attempt - Dog sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Terra takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Dog bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Terra being controlled for a moment. Dog has knee on belly and moves into mount. Dog controlling his opponent. Dog working for a submission but Terra is keeping him at bay.

He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Terra was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Dog is looking to get to half guard. Terra goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Dog is on top in guard.
Dog slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Dog tries to move into full mount but can't pass Terra's legs.

Terra wants to get back to full guard but Dog has mounted him! Dog controlling the pace for now. Terra slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Terra wants to sweep but Dog has passed to side control! Terra looks to move to half guard but instead Dog has passed into mount! Damn! Dog looking to control and managing it successfully. Terra is wriggling around trying to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dog controlling the position easily from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Terra tries to reverse the position but Dog maintains control. Terra is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Dog looking to control but Terra is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Dog controlling his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Terra gets back to half guard. Terra tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Dog has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Terra is trying desperately to improve position. Dog looking to control and managing it successfully. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Terra can't escape the position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Crazy Dog will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Dog moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Crazy Dog is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Terra misses the shot to the body. Terra swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Terra scores with a jab to the jaw. Terra shoots for a takedown but Dog saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Terra looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Terra throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Terra thows a body shot but no joy. Terra ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dog moves away. Dog connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Terra misses with a series of wild punches.
Dog throws a jab but it's blocked by Terra. Terra shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Dog counters with a nice uppercut. Terra takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Terra shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Dog counters with a straight right hand. Crazy Dog has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caio Terra. A nice combination there by Dog.
Terra will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A jab from Terra misses. Terra gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Terra takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Dog slaps away a takedown attempt from Terra, before circling back to the center of the mat. Dog throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Terra on the side of the head. Dog is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Terra falls off balance throwing a combination
and Dog counters with a left and a right that stings Terra. Caio Terra has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nice defenses there by Dog. Dog drives through with a takedown into guard. Dog is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Terra is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Terra being controlled here, momentarily. Dog passes into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Terra looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Dog keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Crazy Dog overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

We're going to have a standup here because Crazy Dog wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Dog uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Terra.
Terra just misses with a punch to the body.
A combination from Terra does no damage. A combination from Terra does no damage. Dog scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Dog bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Terra's head backwards. Terra gets caught flat footed, as Dog shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Crazy Dog is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Dog controls from within his opponent's guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that's the end of the fight! Crazy Dog showed his dominance in that final round. Well Dog has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vader is looking to chop away at Cunhha's legs. Cunhha tries for a takedown but Vader sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Vader closes the distance looking to clinch and Cunhha counters with a three punch combo that has Vader backing up. Vader nods at Cunhha to acknowledge the strikes. Cunhha avoids the head kick by Vader.
Vader throws a sloppy head kick and Cunhha counters with a shoot takedown. Vader fights it but they end up in guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Vader not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Vader tries to land a sweep but no joy. Cunhha slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Cunhha got a little sloppy there for a moment and Vader has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cunhha has managed to get both his arms back between Vader's legs - danger averted. Vader wants to stand and escape but Cunhha is having none of it. Cunhha is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Vader is trying to get an arm triangle but Cunhha is defending well. Cunhha tries to escape but Vader is in control. Cunhha trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Vader tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cunhha explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Vader looks to land a combination but Cunhha avoids it well. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Cunhha keeping moving, preventing Vader from controlling successfully. Vader looking to sit in guard and control but Cunhha gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Cunhha stands and throws Vader's legs to the side, diving into side control. Vader tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Cunhha wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cunhha controlling the position. Cunhha is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Vader is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. That was a close round but I would say that Euclides Cunhha will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Cunhha gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Euclides Cunhha overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Vader decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Cunhha, up you get! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. You can see the frustration on Vader's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
