The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harun throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jones on the side of the head.
It looks like Jon Jones has been cut. Nice takedown defense from Harun. No joy for Jones on that attempt. Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Harun but Harun pushes him off and we're back to square one. Harun clinches with his opponent.
With the fighters up against the cage, Jones throws an elbow but misses. Harun breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Harun lands a big head kick that sends Jones tumbling to the mat! Harun takes a step backwards and waves Jones back to his feet - he wants the finish! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Harun closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Harun gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Jon Jones 's cut is getting worse. Harun comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Jones fails to pull the fight into his guard.

2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Robert Aata! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Axon closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Aata's guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Axon trying to control but Aata is working from the bottom. Axon is stalling in the full guard. Aata really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Axon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Aata can't keep his opponent in guard - Axon advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Aata is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Axon is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Aata is trying to get back to full guard. Axon is stalling here. Aata is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Axon seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Aata has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aata decides to stand back up. Aata steps back and let's Axon get back to his feet. Aata shoots in but no luck this time. Axon scores with a takedown into Aata's guard. Axon trying to control the position from guard on top but Aata is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Axonis looking to pass into half guard but Aata pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Aata is in guard. Axon throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Aata wants to stand but Axon has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Numa gets caught napping as Wallace dives in and scores a takedown. Numa manages to retain guard. Numa utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Numa is looking for a triangle but Wallace pushes his legs off easily.
Numa is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Wallace is aware though and is defending well. Wallace works a leg free and moves into half guard. Numa tries to get to full guard but Wallace has control of the leg. Wallace thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Numa trying to control from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wallace throwing shots but Numa is blocking nicely. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wallace tries to pass the half guard into mount. Numa knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Numa is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Wallace's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Wallace's back! Numa tries to get the hooks in deep but Wallace pushed the leg off. Numa working for the choke. Wallace tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Mazzarri looks to land a body kick but Chaowanungkarn moved away. Mazzarri moves out of range of the leg kick from Chaowanungkarn. Mazzarri bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Mazzarri tried to score with a low kick but Chaowanungkarn checks it. Chaowanungkarn has Mazzarri up against the cage in a clinch.

This has been an exciting period of action! Mazzarri misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chaowanungkarn struggling a bit here. Chaowanungkarn parries the strikes from Mazzarri easily there. Mazzarri is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Chaowanungkarn to escape.

Mazzarri is trying to ground and pound but Chaowanungkarn uses the momentary lack of control by Mazzarri to regain half guard. Chaowanungkarn blocking the ground and pound attempt from Mazzarri. Mazzarri lands strikes from half guard. Mazzarri missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mazzarri thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Chaowanungkarn's head. Chaowanungkarn is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Mazzarri throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Chaowanungkarn to regain full guard. Mazzarri throws a strike but Chaowanungkarn rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Chaowanungkarn won't allow Mazzarri to sweep him here. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mazzarri can do anything to dispel that myth. Mazzarri lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Chaowanungkarn! Mazzarri throws some wild stikes that Chaowanungkarn manages to avoid easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mazzarri thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mazzarri misses with a head shot. Mazzarri lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shields fails with the takedown and Davee counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Davee keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Shields. Davee lands a glancing blow to the side of Shields's head. Davee avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Shields on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Davee looks to land a right hand but Shields moved out of range. Davee misses with an uppercut. Shields gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Davee. Shields looks to clinch and Davee counters with a straight right hand. Shields tries to land a leg kick but Davee saw it coming and moves away.
Jake Shields seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Davee, as that shot connected.

Shields is breathing heavily. Shields throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Shields shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Davee avoids the head kick by Shields.

That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Davee scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Davee lands a glancing blow to the side of Shields's head. A slow jab from Shields misses its intended target. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Shields. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Shields tries to close the distance and clinch up but Davee swats him away and circles back towards the center. Shields's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Davee connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Shields scrambles back to his feet. Davee throws a nice looking combination but Shields bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Davee digs a good body shot into Shields's ribs. Shields on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Nice takedown defense from Davee. No joy for Shields on that attempt. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A jab from Davee does it's job there. Shields drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Shields misses with a head kick.

Horrible takedown by Shields or perhaps it was just good defense by Davee which made him look bad. Davee throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Shields stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Davee lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Shields looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Davee cracks Shields with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Shields scores with a takedown into Davee's guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Shields throws a big elbow that misses. Shields trying to control the position from guard on top but Davee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Shields would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Shields trying to control but Davee is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Davee looking for a sweep. Not yet Davee, not yet.

Abu Davee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Shields throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Davee's waist but Davee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shields off to one side. Davee has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Shields is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Shields tries to score a power double leg takedown but Davee sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Shields somewhat. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Davee getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, David Summers! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tompkins blocks a head kick by Summers.
Tompkins throws a hook to the side of Summers's head but Summers sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Tompkins fails to land with a series of punches.
Tompkins throws a right and a left that Summers avoids nicely. Summers keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tompkins. Tompkins lands a right hook to the body.
Summers shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tompkins pinned against the cage. Tompkins gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Summers shoots in but no luck this time. Tompkins has Summers up against the cage in a clinch.
Tompkins pushes Summers back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tompkins lands a body shot in the clinch.

Summers can't keep his opponent in guard - Tompkins advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Summers is looking to improve his position.
Tompkins will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Tompkins thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Summers's head. Tompkins wants to stand but Summers has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Summers is refusing to be controlled, as Tompkins sits in half guard. Tompkins not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Tompkins trying to advance position but Summers counters by regaining guard. Tompkins postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tompkins keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Summers's head. Tompkins postures up.
Summers is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Tompkinsis looking to pass into half guard but Summers pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Summers is in guard. Summers drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Tompkins dives on top into guard. Tompkins missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Summers has momentary wrist control but Tompkins slips an elbow through the middle. Tompkins trying to control but Summers is working from the bottom. Tompkins preventing the sweep. Summers bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tompkins's guard. Summers is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Summers pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tompkins is keeping the position for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Summers stopping the sweep attempt from Tompkins. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tompkins manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Tompkins lands a heavy elbow. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Tompkins looking to finish Summers with some ground and pound. This is bad for Summers! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steve Tompkins dominated that round. The cut man is working on David Summers's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Tompkins throws a nice looking combination but Summers bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Summers shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tompkins as he jumps to the side. Tompkins lands with a nice body punch. That kick from Tompkins tenderised Summers's leg. Summers is trying to keep his angry face on. Tompkins delivers a nice body kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tompkins catches Summers with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Summers forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
