0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bejan Filsaime! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Filsaime fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Jones is out of range. A left and a right from Jones both land. Nice combination. Filsaime moves away from the strike by Jones. Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Filsaime. Jones lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Filsaime backs up against the cage.
Jones closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Filsaime to the mat! Filsaime manages to get full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones postures up in Filsaime's guard and throws a big left but Filsaime blocks it. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jones accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Jones throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Filsaime works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Jones with a nice head shot there. This has been an exciting period of action! Filsaime wants to stand up but Jones is controlling him. Jones is in close to Filsaime's body, working some short punches and elbows. Filsaime avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Jones lands a couple of digs. Jones is looking to work some ground and pound but Filsaime has wrist control.

Jones with a nice head shot there. Filsaime utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Filsaime looks gassed! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Maresio, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Goniwiecha tries to clinch but Maresio moves out of range. A punch combination from Goniwiecha misses. Goniwiecha moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Goniwiecha uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Maresio has time to react. Goniwiecha throws a left and a right that both miss
and Maresio counters with a head kick. Maresio throws a right hand that Goniwiecha ducks under and follows up with a left that Goniwiecha also avoids with ease. Maresio closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Goniwiecha quickly recovers to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Maresio is stalling here. Goniwiecha is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Maresio seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Goniwiecha has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Goniwiecha decides to stand back up. Goniwiecha steps back and let's Maresio get back to his feet. A combination from Goniwiecha does no damage. Goniwiecha throws a series of punches but Maresio avoids them all with ease. Goniwiecha tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Maresio manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Goniwiecha moves in looking to clinch but Maresio pushes him off. Dawid Goniwiecha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Goniwiecha fails with a takedown attempt. Goniwiecha connects with a right hand. Maresio shakes it off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maresio lands a head kick. Goniwiecha smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Goniwiecha will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A chopping leg kick lands by Maresio. Goniwiecha throws a right hand that Maresio ducks under and follows up with a left that Maresio also avoids with ease. Goniwiecha on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Maresio shoots in looking for a takedown. Goniwiecha tries to sprawl out of it but Maresio keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Goniwiecha manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Maresio looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Maresio prevents Goniwiecha from standing back up.
Maresio wants to stand up but Goniwiecha has a hold of him and won't allow it.

This has been an exciting period of action! Maresio is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Goniwiecha has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Goniwiecha! Goniwiecha missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Goniwiecha wants to clinch up but Maresio keeps it at a distance. The fight stays on the outside here - Goniwiecha looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Maresio swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Goniwiecha dives in and grabs Maresio's left leg, looking for a takedown. Maresio pushes down on Goniwiecha's head and hops out. A low kick from Goniwiecha is predictable there so Maresio counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Goniwiecha keeping moving, preventing Maresio from controlling successfully. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Maresio is working Goniwiecha over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Goniwiecha bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Maresio's guard. Goniwiecha tries to free his leg and advance position but Maresio is retaining full guard. Goniwiecha is breathing heavily. Goniwiecha wants to get up but he can't break Maresio's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Maresio working a defensive guard here.
Maresio tries to land a sweep but no joy. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Goniwiecha wants to control from the top but Maresio keeps moving. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Maresio throws a nice inside leg kick. Maresio scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Theodor Maresio dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
A combination from Goniwiecha does no damage. Goniwiecha clinches. Goniwiecha has Maresio pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Maresio manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Maresio escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Van Drunen lands a body shot.
Van Drunen cracks Rutten with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Rutten with a poor takedown and Van Drunen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Rutten walks into a left hand. Van Drunen connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Good shot there by Van Drunen. Rutten tries for a takedown but Van Drunen circles away easily and Van Drunen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Van Drunen jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Van Drunen scores with a one two! Rutten had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Rutten shoots for a takedown but Van Drunen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ernesto Rutten. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rutten takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Rutten is breathing heavily. Van Drunen goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Rutten closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Oh Rutten is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Van Drunen digs a good hook to Rutten's body.
Nice body kick there by Van Drunen. Van Drunen closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Rutten out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gunnarsson missing with a left hand there. Hiro was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Gunnarsson tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Hiro clinches with his opponent.
Gunnarsson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hiro's efforts to push away. Gunnarsson breaks from the clinch.
Gunnarsson leaves Hiro with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Gunnarsson lands a leg kick that knocks Hiro off balance momentarily. Gunnarsson's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Gunnarsson duly obliges. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hiro instigates a clinch. Gunnarsson breaks from the clinch.

We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silver moves to clinch but Kucherov breaks away and Kucherov counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Silver! Kucherov tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silver squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Kucherov lands a big shot there that rocks Silver but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Silver wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kucherov controlling from the full mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kucherov cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Kucherov tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Kucherov really is a fat lump. Kucherov with the ground and pound from mount. Kucherov postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Silver looks a forlorn figure.
Silver is rocked! Kucherov is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Silver has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Silver is still in real trouble! Can Kucherov finish him? The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Silver wants to try and get back to his feet. Silver seems to have recovered his senses. Silver looks gassed! Kucherov in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Niles is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Price wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Niles, who protects the arm well. Niles is still in real trouble! Can Price finish him? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Niles tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Price wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Niles seems to have recovered his senses. Niles is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Price thows a huge punch but Niles dodges it nicely.

MacKay wants to control for a moment but Jones uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Jones is staying active underneath MacKay, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Ground and pound from MacKay. MacKay seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. MacKay has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Jones defend it? MacKay steps over the head and cranks it - Jones is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for MacKay!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andrew Wiggin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andy Johnson! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson has managed to clinch.
Wiggin lands an elbow inside that Johnson shrugs off.
It looks like Andy Johnson has been cut. Johnson tries for a takedown but Wiggin manages to get underhooks.

A nice right hand lands inside from Johnson. Johnson turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Johnson manages to end up in side control. Wiggin is rocked! Wiggin takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Oh Wiggin is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Johnson lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Johnson lands a nice forearm strike. Johnson working the body and head with strikes. Johnson scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Wiggin is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Johnson can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
