Costa manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Araujo takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Let's see what he's got on the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Jecht throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kaike fails with a takedown attempt. Araribe closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Kaike gets a trip takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Kaike takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. OK we're going to have a standup here. James Bobby hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Silva shoots in and drives through. Bobby sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bruno Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bobby shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Silva napping and manages to drive through into side control! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
