2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Crash Dummy! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Valeri Chadov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Greene slips under a jab from Dummy. Dummy swinging wildly here.
Greene slips a jab from Dummy. Dummy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Greene circles away quickly and effectively. Greene displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dummy throws out the jab. Dummy misses with a right hand and Greene counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Dummy! Greene pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Greene has hold of Dummy's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Dummy manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Greene looking to secure an arm triangle but Dummy defends it well. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Greene tries to control but Dummy wriggling away.

Dummy can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Greene misses with a head shot. Greene raining down hammerfists from mount. Dummy keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

It looks like Crash Dummy has been cut. Dummy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Greene. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Greene connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Greene goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Dummy turns into him and now he's in Greene's guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chepakov walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Oxide checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Chepakov does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Anatoli Chepakov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Oxide connects with a body shot that sends Chepakov's belly button to the back. Chepakov is breathing heavily. Oxide connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Chepakov takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Oxide explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A head kick by Oxide - that's a beauty! Chepakov is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Oxide can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mike Henderson! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Matthew Mangan! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Henderson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Henderson throws a shot to the body.
Henderson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mangan.
Henderson swings away with a leg kick that misses. A shot to the liver by Mangan. Beautiful body shot. Henderson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Henderson fails with a takedown attempt. Mangan walks into a straight right hand from Henderson. Henderson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Mangan works Henderson's body with a nice hook. This has been an exciting period of action! Henderson throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Nice defenses there by Mangan. Henderson wants to land a leg kick but Mangan is out of range. Mangan throws out a token jab with nothing on it. A jab from Mangan misses. Henderson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mangan.

That's one minute gone in the round. Henderson sizes up Mangan with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Henderson tries to land a leg kick but Mangan saw it coming and moves away.
Mangan lands with a straight right. Henderson didn't see that one coming. Henderson getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Henderson moves out of range of the strikes. Henderson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Henderson jabs Mangan to the body, keeping him at a distance. Mangan gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Henderson tries to clinch but Mangan moves out of range. Mangan looks to score with a jab to the body but Henderson is just out of range. Mangan has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Henderson. Mangan scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Henderson tries to clinch up. Mangan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Henderson. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Henderson misses the shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mangan scores with the left hand. Henderson knows he should have avoided that one. Henderson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Henderson with a nice cross. Henderson ducks under a wild hook from Mangan. Mangan misses with a jab to the body
letting Henderson counter with a right hand. Mangan takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Mangan comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Mangan takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Mangan is rocked! Mangan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Henderson manages to avoid it. Mangan is still on wobbly legs! Can Henderson finish him? Henderson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Mangan looks gassed! Mangan thows a body shot but no joy. Henderson lands a body shot.
Henderson is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Henderson works Mangan's body with a nice hook. Mangan gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Henderson gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Mangan is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Henderson! Mike Henderson is the new featherweight champion! During a confident post fight interview, Mike Henderson thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
