Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Danny Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daigo Asai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santos comes to the cage accompanied by Killing in the name of. Danny Santos had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 157.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Hessburg has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Saunier to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hessburg is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Saunier pulls down on the head and he's put Hessburg to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hindu Kush!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Blue Steel!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kush counters with a nice body shot.
Steel fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kush misses with an uppercut. Steel saw that one coming.
Kush lands a jab to the nose.
Kush looks to land a left hand but Steel moved out of range nicely.
Steel gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kush counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Steel avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kush dips to his left and cracks Steel with an uppercut!
A looping hook to the body misses from Kush. Steel does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Steel takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Kush scores with a body shot.
Steel looks gassed!
Steel takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Kush misses with a wild body shot.
Steel shoots and misses
and Kush counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Hindu Kush has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Blue Steel.
Kush swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Steel takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Kush does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Kush uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Steel is rocked!
Steel moves out of range of the strikes.
Steel is still on wobbly legs! Can Kush finish him?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kush ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Steel gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Kush gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Steel is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
