The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Easy lands a nice looking body shot.
Easy defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Menno.
Menno with a lazy takedown attempt
and Easy counters with a solid body kick.
Easy misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Menno.
Menno shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Easy but Easy pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Menno takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

It looks like Menno Menno has been cut.
Easy cracks Menno with an open hand slap.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Menno shoots for a double leg takedown but Easy sprawls well. He's pushed Menno's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

No joy there for Menno, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Menno closes this distance looking for a takedown but Easy circles away.
Easy uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Menno has time to react.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Easy! Menno is out on his feet! Easy rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Menno is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Menno is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Hatred tries to close the distance and clinch up but Napolitano swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Napolitano shoots in and bounces Hatred off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Kwidama fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sonninen has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
