The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stinson lands with a nice body punch.
Stinson misses with a straight left.
Africanus shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stinson pinned against the cage. Stinson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Africanus fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stinson sprawls well initially but Africanus persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Stinson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stinson is trying to maintain the position but Africanus is very close to passing his half guard.
Africanus looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Stinson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
