0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Calviin Johnson! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson misses with a two punch combination.
Johnson tries to clinch up but Tyson circles away and keeps his distance. Tyson shoots in and drives through. Johnson sprawls well. Johnson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tyson circles away quickly and effectively. Johnson's corner calls for a 1-2. Johnson obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. A combination from Johnson does no damage. Nice sprawl there from Johnson as Tyson shoots in. No luck for Johnson with that takedown attempt. Tyson slips a jab and a cross from Johnson.
Tyson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Tyson closes the distance and pushes Johnson back into the ropes. Tyson misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Johnson.

Johnson tries to bum rush Tyson with a series of wild strikes but Tyson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Johnson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Johnson scores with a jab to the body. Johnson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Johnson looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tyson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Nice takedown defense from Tyson. No joy for Johnson on that attempt. Johnson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Tyson tries a head kick but it misses.
Tyson shoots for a takedown but Johnson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Tyson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Johnson. Johnson avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Tyson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Johnson throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Johnson. Tyson shoots in but Johnson avoids the takedown attempt easily. Calviin Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jab from Johnson. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Johnson lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tyson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Tyson clinches. Tyson can't get the takedown.
Johnson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Tyson gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Johnson tries to break free but Tyson pushes him back against the ropes. Johnson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Tyson just stands there and leans against the ropes. Tyson jumps guard and drags Johnson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Tyson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Johnson really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson wants to hold on but Tyson pushes him away. Tyson controlling the pace for now. Johnson is wriggling around trying to escape.
Johnson is squirming around, avoiding Tyson's attempts to control the action. Tyson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Johnson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tyson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Johnson somewhat. Tyson looks to score with a jab to the body but Johnson is just out of range.

That's nine minutes gone in the round. Johnson is pushing down on Tyson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Tyson is fighting to maintain full guard but Johnson has managed to sneak the leg through. Johnson is trying to control the action in half guard but Tyson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Johnson decides to stand and escape the position. Johnson lands the left hand. Johnson sizes up Tyson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Johnson is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Johnson throws a series of punches but Tyson avoids them all with ease. Johnson doesn't manage to clinch there - Tyson circles away.
Johnson shoots in looking for a takedown but Tyson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Johnson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tyson slips a jab and a cross from Johnson.

And that's the end of the fight! Calviin Johnson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Johnson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Munoz scores with a takedown into Henson's guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Munoz preventing the sweep. Munoz is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Munoz is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Munoz stopping the sweep attempt from Henson. Munoz advances position into side control! Munoz connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Henson some visible discomfort.
Munoz lands a decent elbow from side control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Munoz lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Munoz is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Henson looks calm but he's in trouble here. Munoz gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Henson is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Munoz lets go of the hold and Henson can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Ikuhisa Minowaman ! Ikuhisa Minowaman was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gogoplata lands an overhand right. Gogoplata clobbers Aldo with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Jose Aldo has been cut. Gogoplata shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Gogoplata is landing with some decent strikes but Aldo is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Gogoplata breaks from Aldo's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Aldo is rocked! Aldo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gogoplata on the ground. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Oooooh, big shot lands for Gogoplata! Aldo is hurt baaadly! Gogoplata is firing away with more strikes - Aldo is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
