I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Joe Boxer was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hussein swats away the attempt to clinch by Boxer.
Hussein misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Boxer clobbers Hussein with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Boxer clinches up with Hussein and pushes him back against the cage.
Boxer stops a takedown attempt from Hussein.
Boxer tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Hussein is trying to stall.
Boxer utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.

Boxer is pressed up against the cage. Hussein has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Boxer down to the mat. Boxer avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Joe Boxer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hussein walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Boxer throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hussein on the side of the head.
Boxer just misses with a punch to the body.
Boxer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Boxer throws a nice looking combination but Hussein bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hussein moves in looking to clinch but Boxer pushes him off.
Hussein has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hussein there as he acknowledges the shot.
Boxer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hussein circles away quickly and effectively.
Some bone on bone action there as Hussein checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Hussein tries to score a power double leg takedown but Boxer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hussein somewhat.
Boxer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hussein manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Hussein takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Boxer. Hussein does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hussein shoots for a takedown but Boxer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Boxer buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Crunch! Boxer slams his shin into Hussein's torso.

Freeman lands a left and a right that sends Hogan crashing to the canvas! Freeman dives into mount looking to finish!

It looks like Hulk Hogan has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Hogan is in all sorts of trouble here.
Freeman misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boxer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Boxer misses with a two punch combination.
Time feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Boxers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Time tries for a takedown but Boxer sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Time clinches.
Time doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Boxer misses with a body punch.
Boxer is struggling to control the position.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Time.
Time tries to score a body lock takedown but Boxer shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Time tries to work over Boxer's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Boxer scores with a shoulder strike.
Boxer is trying to break the clinch but Time has him pressed against the cage.
Boxer blocks a body shot from Time.
Time misses with a punch on the inside.
Time tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A nice left hand lands by Time.

It looks like Barbara Boxer has been cut.
Time tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Boxer's elbow.

Boxer is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Time is keeping busy.
Time drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Time swings wildly with an uppercut but Boxer uses good head movement to avoid it.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Boxer chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Time can pounce on him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Boxer misses with the combination.
Time fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Boxer has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Boxer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Time moves away.
Time missing with a left hand there. Boxer was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Time lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Prime Time is winning the standup battle so far.
Boxer avoids the head kick by Time.
Good leg kick by Time there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Boxer is rocked!
Time cracks Boxer with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Boxer falls to his knees and Time doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
