Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mack Burnes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tap Out! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Steve Montenegro and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burnes drives through and clinches with Out against the cage.
Out looking for a takedown. Burnes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Burnes motions for Out to come forward. Burnes throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Burnes darts in trying to clinch and Out counters with a shoot takedown. Burnes fights it but they end up in guard. Out looking to pass the guard. Out won't allow Burnes to get back to his feet. Burnes keeping full guard, as Out tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Out is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Burnes is trying to control the position but Out postures up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Mack Burnes. Out takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Out shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Burnes as he avoids it easily. Burnes closes the distance looking to clinch and Out counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Out stalling. Out trying to mount his opponent but Burnes defends it. Out wants to take a breather but Burnes is having none of it. Burnes might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Tap Out hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Burnes!
Burnes is breathing heavily. Out circles away from the clinch attempt and Out counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Burnes's guard now. Out is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Burnes is trying to keep Out in close.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Out throws a big right hand that misses. Out postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Out pushes down on Burnes's leg and manages to get into half guard. Out moves into full mount! Burnes won't be happy about that! Burnes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Out on the ground. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Out trying to control but he's not successful this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tap Out dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Out circles away from the clinch attempt and Out counters with a nice double leg into guard. Out passes Burnes's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Burnes is not content to let Out control the position. Out looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Burnes trying to control from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Out passes to side control. Out advances to full mount. Burnes tries to hold on but Out postures up. Out controlling from mount. Burnes is trying desperately to improve position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Out with a couple of short strikes. Out content just to control the position here. Tap Out has got the better of the ground game so far. Burnes is squirming around, avoiding Out's attempts to control the action. Out controlling the pace for now.

Out trying to control but Burnes is having none of it. Out controlling from the full mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Out putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Out tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Out tries to control but Burnes wriggling away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Out is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tap Out showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Out stands and throws Burnes's legs to the side, diving into side control. Out working the ground and pound but Burnes is defending the strikes. A lull in the action here. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Out tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Out tries to advance to mount but can't. Burnes is being controlled here. Burnes is not content to let Out control the position. Out taking a breather here. Mack Burnes has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tap Out is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Out sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Burnes is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Burnes wants to clinch but Out slips to the side and Out counters with a nice double leg into side control. Burnes won't be happy with that. Burnes seems a little lost for a moment, as Out dominates the positioning.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Out tries to advance to mount but can't. Out happy to just control the position for now. Out has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Let's hope that Out has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Poke slaps away a takedown attempt from Goldberg, before circling back to the center of the mat. Goldberg shoots in looking for a takedown but Poke manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Goldberg's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Poke closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Goldberg quickly recovers to half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Poke sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Goldberg defending well though. Poke seems to be looking for submissions.

Macgowan is looking to regain half guard here but Mint keeps moving and retains side control. Macgowan manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Macgowan is looking to stall here but Mint recovers full guard. Mint has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Macgowan takes a decent strike to the side of the head. Mint has his hands on Macgowan's head, controlling the position. Macgowan has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Mint is proving hard to escape from. Mint drives through with a takedown into guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mint accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Mint works over Macgowan with some ground and pound from guard. Mint scoring with punches to the head and body. Mint cracks Macgowan with a solid left hand. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mint postures up in Macgowan's guard and throws a big left but Macgowan blocks it. Mint looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Macgowan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mint doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mint manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nunes listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Nunes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sheilds manages to avoid it. Sheilds takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Nunes throws a right and a left that Sheilds avoids nicely. Nunes lands a nice leg kick that just misses Sheilds's sensitive parts. Nunes throws a big shot that misses. Nunes delivers a nice body kick. Sheilds will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Sheilds fails to land the takedown. Nunes fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Sheilds throws a head kick that misses and Nunes counters with a big head kick but Sheilds shrugs it off.
