David breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Jones fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Franklin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Franklin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jones as he jumps to the side.

Jones drops Franklin with a beautiful combination! Franklin stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Jones is looking for the KO!

Franklin is breathing heavily.
Jones darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Franklin's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Jones before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Eddy Jones!
A very excited looking Eddy Jones rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Pimpovic might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Pimpovic shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Marlboro eats them both and turns towards Pimpovic to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Marlboro shoots in looking for a takedown but Pimpovic manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Marlboro's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Pimpovic throws a hook to the side of Marlboro's head but Marlboro sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Marlboro decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pimpovic's guard.
Pimpovic wants to get back to his feet but Marlboro is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Pimpovic fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Marlboro to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Marlboro looks to clinch but Pimpovic throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Marlboro taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
