2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Edson Perry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vasilijus Petrovas! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perry moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Perry misses with an uppercut. Petrovas saw that one coming. Petrovas scores with a takedown into Perry's guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Petrovas postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Petrovas throwing strikes but missing. Petrovas has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Perry has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Petrovas off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Perry comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Perry throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Perry swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Perry misses the jab. Perry lands a nice shot to the body.
Petrovas looks gassed! Petrovas doesn't succeed with the takedown and Perry counters with a left and a right that stings Petrovas. Perry lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Petrovas is rocked! Perry throws a monster overhand right that drops Petrovas! Perry follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Edson Perry! Our winner, Edson Perry, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bryce Niles! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Goniwiecha shoots in but Niles avoids the takedown attempt easily. Goniwiecha throws a combination that misses and Niles counters with a nice double leg into side control. Goniwiecha won't be happy with that. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Niles working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Niles has hold of Goniwiecha's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Goniwiecha tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Niles cranks the arm and Goniwiecha screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Goniwiecha, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Van Helder tries to clinch but Van Drunen moves away and Van Drunen decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Van Helder's guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Van Drunen prevents Van Helder from getting back to his feet. Van Drunen trying to control but Van Helder is working from the bottom. Van Drunen pushes down on Van Helder's leg and manages to get into half guard. Van Helder is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Van Helder kicks Van Drunen off and gets back to his feet. Jim fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Visnjic sprawls well initially but Jim persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Jim trying to mount his opponent but Visnjic defends it. Jim is looking for a kimura. Connors is looking to clinch but Batallir is avoiding it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kucherov manages to get an easy takedown there - catching MacKay on his heels. He'll look to pass MacKay's guard now, I'm sure. Kucherov controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Kucherov trying to control but MacKay is working from the bottom. Kucherov throws a strike but MacKay rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. MacKay stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kucherov swivels though and keeps the full guard. MacKay being controlled here momentarily. Kucherov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. MacKay is fighting to break Kucherov's control of his arms but Kucherov is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Kucherov is adopting a defensive guard. Kucherov keeping moving, preventing MacKay from controlling successfully. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. MacKay looking to pass the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Kucherov fails with a takedown attempt from distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

MacKay postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kucherov is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of MacKay, into his guard. MacKay looking to control.
