The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shnutz fails to land the takedown. Nice takedown defense from Pretorius. No joy for Shnutz on that attempt. Pretorius gets caught napping as Shnutz dives in and scores a takedown. Pretorius manages to retain guard. Shnutz is looking to work some ground and pound but Pretorius has wrist control. Pretorius tries to land a sweep but no joy. Pretorius looking to control.
Shnutz trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Pretorius is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Pretorius is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Shnutz is aware though and is defending well. Shnutz wants to control from the top but Pretorius keeps moving. Shnutz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pretorius on the ground. Pretorius keeping full guard, as Shnutz tries to pass. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The crowd cheers as Ita lands an impressive looking overhand right. Says doesn't seem phased though. Ita slips a jab and a cross from Says.
Says has managed to clinch.
Says pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Ita lands a body shot.
Ita attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Says misses with a double jab
and Ita counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Says displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ita. Ita fails to land the takedown. Ita closes the distance and pushes Says back into the cage. Ita looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Says breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ita shoots in looking for a takedown but Says manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ita's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nik Ita. That's going to take a lot out of him. Says clinches with his opponent.

Says rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ita moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Says tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Ita manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Ita moves into range and clinches up with Says. Says has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ita is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Says breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ita rushes Says and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Ita wants to stall.
Ita tries to circle away but Says has him pinned against the cage. Ita fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Says's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Says shoots in but no luck this time. The fight moves into the clinch position. Says breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ita forces Says back against the cage and clinches. Says misses with a knee strike.
Says breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Says moves in looking to clinch but Ita pushes him off. Says gets tackled into the cage by Ita. Ita maintains the clinch. Ita is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Says jumps into guard, dragging Ita to the mat.
Ita tries to free his leg and advance position but Says is retaining full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Itais looking to pass into half guard but Says pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Says is in guard. Ita has Says pulled in close to control his posture. Says showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Says slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Says wants to control but Ita is keeping him busy. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ita tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Says wants to control the pace but Ita is squirming around nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Nik Ita will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Ita wants to stand and escape but instead Says has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Says works a leg free and moves into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Says decides to stand and escape the position. Says tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Ita shoots in but Says avoids the takedown attempt easily. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Says fails with an attempt to clinch.

Simon Says showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Nik Ita's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Ita throws a head kick that misses. Says tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ita swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ita tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Says swivels and escapes. Ita swats away the attempt to clinch by Says. Says has managed to clinch.

Ita jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Says walks away with a smile on his face. Ita gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nik Ita. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Simon Says seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Ita is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Says to keep the fight standing. Says pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Says clinches up with Ita and pushes him back against the cage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Says escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ita takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. No luck for Ita with that takedown attempt. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Says stuffs the takedown. Says displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ita. The fight stays on the outside here - Says looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Says stuns Ita with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ita thows a body shot but no joy. Says throws a right hand that Ita ducks under and follows up with a left that Ita also avoids with ease. Says tries to clinch there but Ita circles away.
Says tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ita paws at him with a jab and circles away. Says is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ita has managed to clinch.
Says is pressed up against the cage. Ita has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Says down to the mat. Says avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Says tries to clinch but Ita is having none of it. Ita fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Ita closes the distance and pushes Says back into the cage. Says breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Says throws a right hand that Ita ducks under and follows up with a left that Ita also avoids with ease. Ita shoots in for a double leg but Says sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Says throws a nice looking combination but Ita bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Says wants to clinch up but Ita keeps it at a distance. Ita lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Says circles away quickly and effectively. Ita looks for a takedown but Says sprawls well. Says darts in and clinches Ita up against the cage. Says throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Itas head. Ita has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Says after a bit of a struggle. This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Says lands a knee to the body.
Says tries to score a body lock takedown but Ita shows good agility there to stay on his feet. A nice glancing elbow lands by Says.
And that's the end of the fight! Simon Says comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Says has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fresh throws a combination that misses so Banner counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Banner trying to control but Fresh is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fresh tries to land a sweep but no joy. Banner postures up.

This has been an exciting period of action! Fresh trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
That's one minute gone in the round. Banner unloads with some shots from mount but Fresh bucks and avoids them well.

Banner looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Banner is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Fresh can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Fresh is looking to get to half guard. Banner thowing shots but they're missing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Banner working for a submission but Fresh is keeping him at bay. Fresh tries to get back to half guard but can't. Banner wants to take Fresh's back but he can't do it this time. Fresh is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Banner looking for a guillotine from mount but Fresh is having none of it. Fresh defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Banner.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Banner goes for an armbar but Fresh turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Fresh. Fresh stands up from guard. Let's bang! Fresh tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Banner manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Fresh throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Banner. Fresh tries to close the distance and clinch up but Banner swats him away and circles back towards the center. Banner shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
It looks like Bruce Banner has been cut. Banner shoots for a takedown but Fresh saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Vlad Fresh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fresh throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Fresh drops Banner with a beautiful combination! Banner stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Fresh is looking for the KO!
Banner is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Banner uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Fresh. Banner is still on wobbly legs! Can Fresh finish him? Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Fresh.
Fresh throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Banner seems to have recovered his senses. Banner moves out of range as Fresh throws a body kick.
Banner looks for a takedown but Fresh sprawls well. Fresh tries to clinch but Banner is having none of it. Fresh tries to clinch there but Banner circles away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Fresh throws a combination that misses and Banner decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Fresh's guard. Banner is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Fresh is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Fresh has escaped and now he's on top! Banner looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Banner uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fresh. Fresh looks to clinch and Banner counters with a lovely straight right hand! Some wild striking there from Fresh.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Banner is defended easily by Fresh. Vlad Fresh is winning the standup battle so far. Fresh lands a left and a right that send Banner crashing to the mat, dazed. Fresh thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Banner looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Fresh cracks Banner with a good jab.
That has opened up Bruce Banner's cut even more. Fresh lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Banner is looking to close the distance but Fresh sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Banner crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Banner is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Vlad Fresh! Vlad Fresh was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Mars wants to pass the guard but Kongo is keeping the position. Mars with a nice head shot there. Mars landing some decent shots from guard. Mars lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Mars postures up and lands a big shot to Kongo's brow. Kongo is breathing heavily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mars is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Mars lands a couple of decent looking shots. Mars content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Mars working some strikes from top position. Mars stands up over Kongo, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Mars scoring with punches to the head and body. Mars is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Mars distracts Kongo with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mars landing with the ground and pound. Mars connects with a couple of short punches.
Kongo is rocked! Mars loads up on a big left hand. Kongo felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Mars looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Kongo can't hide his disappointment, as Mars celebrates the victory.

Fighter knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hughes manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Roger on his heels. He'll look to pass Roger's guard now, I'm sure. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Hughes throwing strikes from guard but Roger blocks nicely. Roger looking for a guillotine here but Hughes defends easily.
