The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kharitonov throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kotzlowski sees it coming and avoids it easily. Kharitonov just misses with a punch to the body.
Kharitonov closes the distance and clinches up with Kotzlowski, looking for a takedown. Kharitonov pushes Kotzlowski against the cage but Kotzlowski circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Kharitonov throws a right and a left that Kotzlowski avoids nicely. Kharitonov moves into the clinch. Kotzlowski lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Kotzlowski pushes Kharitonov back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kharitonov. Kotzlowski is struggling to control the position. A short uppercut from Kotzlowski. Kharitonov tries to pull guard but Kotzlowski holds him up against the cage and eventually Kharitonov drops back down to his feet.
Kotzlowski lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kharitonov backwards.
It looks like Fedor Kharitonov has been cut. A short uppercut from Kotzlowski. Kotzlowski has Kharitonov pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kotzlowski pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Kharitonov tumbling to the mat - Kotzlowski dives into Kharitonov's guard. Kotzlowski is sitting in close to Kharitonov's body. Kharitonov has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Kotzlowski is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Kotzlowski is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Kharitonov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saidov shoots in but Hook avoids the takedown attempt easily. Saidov drives through with a takedown into guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Saidov drops back looking for a leg! Hook is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hook manages to kick Saidov off! Saidov jumps back into Hook's guard. Saidov is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Saidov looking to pass the guard. Hook looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Saidov drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hook dives on top into guard. Saidov is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Saidov is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hook is aware though and is defending well. Saidov has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Hook doesn't defend quickly enough and Saidov has managed to lock this one up! Can Hook escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Saidov on a fantastic submission victory.
