1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Steve Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Wayne Wolfe! The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Jones gets the takedown into side control. Wolfe wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land. Wolfe striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Wolfe is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Jones wants to control but Wolfe is keeping him busy. Wolfe gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Jones takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Wolfe lands with a few short shots to the body. Jones trying to mount his opponent but Wolfe defends it. Wolfe is staying active underneath Jones, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Wolfe punching from the bottom.

Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Wolfe lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Jones bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Wolfe throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones wants to control but Wolfe is keeping him busy. Jones working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Jones thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Wolfe tries to strike but it doesn't land. Wolfe misses with an elbow from the bottom. Wolfe is trying to get back to half guard.

Jones trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Wolfe punching from the bottom - just letting Jones know he's still in a fight. Wolfe striking off his back, scoring a few points. Wolfe throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Zubrowka can do anything to dispel that myth. Carlton stops Zubrowka from getting back to his feet.

Zubrowka is looking to escape. Zubrowka really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carlton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Carlton wants to sweep here but Zubrowka controlling him for the moment. Possibly, maybe, no Carlton has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Zubrowka is trying to control Carlton's posture but Carlton avoids it. Zubrowka pushes Carlton away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Carlton gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Carlton working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Carlton looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carter fails to land with a series of punches.
Carter lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Reid backs up against the cage.
Reid on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Carter misses with a two punch combination.
Left hook, right uppercut from Carter. Reid dives in and grabs Carter's left leg, looking for a takedown. Carter pushes down on Reid's head and hops out. Carter throws a right and a left that both miss. Carter is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Reid takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Reid looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. No luck for Reid with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Reid. That's going to take a lot out of him. Carter lands an overhand right. A left and a right from Carter both land. Nice combination. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Carter throws a series of punches but Reid moves out of range. Nice jab there from Carter. Carter misses with a few strikes there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carter scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Reid is rocked! Reid doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Oh Reid is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Reid is breathing heavily. Carter connects with a right hand. Reid shakes it off. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Carter connects with a stiff jab that staggers Reid - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
