4 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tim Jackson! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Wagner Zegers and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fu throws a right and a left that both miss. Fu misses with a combination
and Jackson counters with a single leg into guard. Fu didn't expect that. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Fu is looking to stand back up but Jackson counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Fu. Jackson prevents Fu from standing back up.
Jackson decides to stand up. Fu lands a body shot.
Fu gets caught napping as Jackson dives in and scores a takedown. Fu manages to retain guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jackson prevents Fu from getting back to his feet. Fu on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Fu tries to get out of the position. Jackson stands and steps away. Fu gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Fu thows a left - swing and a miss! Fu lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Fu gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jackson to score an easy takedown into full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson gets to his feet - Fu follows without any prompting. Jackson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Jackson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Jackson stands up from half guard. Jackson shoots in but no luck this time. Jackson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Master Fu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tim Jackson. Jackson slips a jab and a cross from Fu.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fu fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jackson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Jackson fails with the takedown. Jackson moves out of range as Fu strikes. Fu swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jackson counters with a shoot takedown. Fu fights it but they end up in guard. Fu is breathing heavily. Jackson is standing up over Fu. Fu looks to escape but Jackson dives into side control.
Jackson decides to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fu misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fu misses with a looping left. Fu displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jackson. Jackson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fu circles away. Fu leaves Jackson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Jackson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Jackson decides to stand up, so the ref orders Fu to his feet. Jackson shoots in for a takedown but Fu shows good takedown defense. Fu stuffs the takedown attempt from Jackson. Jackson gets slowly back to his feet.

Jackson moves out of range as Fu strikes. Fu keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Fu defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jackson. Jackson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fu to the mat! Fu manages to get full guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fu wants to get back to his feet but Jackson is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jackson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

so Jackson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Fu is working an open guard so Jackson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Fu throws a nice looking combination but Jackson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Jackson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Fu enables Jackson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fu manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Jackson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Fu, up you get! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fu looks to land a combination. Jackson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Fu tries to bum rush Jackson with a series of wild strikes but Jackson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Horrible takedown by Jackson or perhaps it was just good defense by Fu which made him look bad. Fu rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jackson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fu stalks Jackson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jackson's face. Jackson staggers backwards, shaken.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fu sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Fu loads up on a big right hand but Jackson slips the punch. Jackson shoots in for a double leg but Fu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Master Fu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tim Jackson. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mickiewicz fails to land the takedown. Mickiewicz shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gaumpe defends it nicely. Gaumpe digs a good body shot into Mickiewicz's ribs. Mickiewicz takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Crunch! Gaumpe slams his shin into Mickiewicz's torso. Mickiewicz looks gassed! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mickiewicz fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Rantis Gaumpe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Mickiewicz. Mickiewicz sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Mickiewicz takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Gaumpe connects with a solid leg kick. Mickiewicz takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Gaumpe throws an overhand right that has Mickiewicz reeling! Gaumpe follows up with more punches and Mickiewicz is out cold! This one is all over!

Morrison pushes Penn away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Penn gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Baby Jay Penn has got the better of the ground game so far. Penn with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Morrison keeping moving, preventing Penn from controlling successfully. Morrison might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Penn stands and throws Morrison's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Penn looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Morrison is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Throughh throws a head kick that misses. Witt rushes Throughh and presses him up against the ropes. Throughh has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Witt uses from the top position. Witt trying to control but Throughh is working from the bottom. Witt is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Witt throws a big elbow that misses. Throughh on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Throughh tries to get out of the position.
