God wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. McMurphy keeps the fight in the clinch, despite God's efforts to push away. That was a close second round but I would say that Gully God will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Randall McMurphy's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

God has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. God misses with a few strikes there.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fisher fails with the takedown and House counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Fisher is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Fisher has House pulled in close to control his posture. House's corner is telling him to maintain position. House trying to control but Fisher is working from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fisher gets a takedown into half guard. Fisher works his way into side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! House sneaks back into half guard. Fisher wants to work for an arm triangle but House is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snake misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Karski drives through with a takedown into Snake's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Karski being controlled here momentarily. Karski gets to his feet. Snake looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Nice sprawl there from Karski as Snake shoots in. Karski stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Karski wants it to stay on the feet. Przemek Karski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Snake. Karski gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Karski is striking from the bottom but Snake uses the opportunity to pass into half guard. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tom Jones! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joe Santiago! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santiago takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Jones throws a chopping leg kick but Santiago manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Jones misses with a wild combination.

Jones keeps the fight on the outside. Santiago closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Jones swats away the attempt to clinch by Santiago. Santiago connects with an inside leg kick. Santiago tries to clinch there but Jones circles away.

Santiago quickly recovers to half guard. Jones seems to be working for a kimura but Santiago defends the submission attempt. Jones prevents Santiago from improving his position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Santiago moves away. The fight moves into the clinch position. Santiago swings wildly with an uppercut but Jones uses good head movement to avoid it. Santiago is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Santiago prevents a takedown attempt there.

Jones is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Santiago is looking for a guillotine. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Santiago bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jones's guard. Santiago has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jones is proving hard to escape from. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones keeping moving, preventing Santiago from controlling successfully. Santiago must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Santiago won't allow Jones to sweep him here. The killer instinct kicks in and Santiago finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Santiago!
