Great tried to score with a low kick but Kulintang checks it.
Great closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Kulintang avoids the head kick by Great.
Great pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Great throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Great throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Great walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kulintang checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Kulintang fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Great misses with a looping left.
Great throws a series of punches but Kulintang moves out of range.

Kulintang shoots in for a takedown but Great shows good takedown defense.

Kulintang closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kulintang is working to tighten is grip on Great's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Great has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Kulintang is really squeezing tight and eventually Great passes out! Kulintang breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
