The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hussein looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Hussein trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Hussein throws a big right hand that misses. Hussein postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Fryer is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Fryer throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Hussein trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hussein trying to control the position from guard on top but Fryer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hussein has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hussein is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Hussein looking to sit in guard and control but Fryer gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fryer postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Fryer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hussein swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hussein should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Fryer controls from within his opponent's guard. Hussein keeping moving, preventing Fryer from controlling successfully. Fryer looking to sit in guard and control but Hussein gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fryer can't keep his opponent in guard - Hussein advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Hussein slips a nice elbow through Fryer's hands, connecting with Fryer's forehead. Hussein trying to control from half guard but Fryer is working away. Hussein is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Fryer defends it well. Fryer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Fryer is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hussein is thwarting Fryer's attempts to control the position. Hussein is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Fryer doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hussein. Hussein wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fryer keeps working. Fryer is defending against the submission attempts here by Hussein.
Hussein is keen to just control but Fryer is a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hussein throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Fryer is looking to improve his position.
Fryer is looking to control Hussein's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Fryer avoid being mounted? Fryer slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Hussein postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Hussein trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hussein landing with the ground and pound. Akbar Hussein dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Fryer wants to clinch. Deep Fryer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A jab from Hussein misses. Hussein just misses with a punch to the body.

Deep Fryer has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Fryer with a lazy takedown attempt and Hussein counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fryer keeping moving, preventing Hussein from controlling successfully. Fryer is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Fryer is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hussein defends well. Fryer keeping full guard, as Hussein tries to pass.

Wait, no, Fryer rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Hussein's guard! Nice work there by Fryer! Fryer is looking to stand up but Hussein won't let him. Fryer has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fryer works his way back into a safe position though. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Fryer decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Hussein just misses with a punch to the body.

That was a close second round but I would say that Deep Fryer will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

We're going to have a standup here because Deep Fryer wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Hussein throws a body punch but Fryer moves out of range. Hussein defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fryer. Fryer uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hussein. Hussein closes the distance and clinches up with Fryer, looking for a takedown. Hussein pushes Fryer against the cage but Fryer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Fryer is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Fryer misses with a takedown attempt and Hussein counters with a nice uppercut. Hussein misses with a hook. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Fryer feints and as Hussein raises his hands in defense, Fryer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Hussein keeping full guard, as Fryer tries to pass. Hussein is trying to control the position from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Deep Fryer showed his dominance in that final round. Well Fryer has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roberts ducks under a wild hook from Tolits. Tolits chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Roberts can pounce on him.
Tolits throws a right hand that Roberts ducks under and follows up with a left that Roberts also avoids with ease. Roberts throws a series of strikes that have Tolits backpedaling.
It looks like Lito Tolits has been cut. Tolits throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Roberts slips a jab from Tolits. Tolits fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Roberts manages to avoid it. Tolits throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Roberts fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tolits misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Roberts cracks Tolits with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tolits drops his hands for a split second and Roberts immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Tolits face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Roberts follows up with a right hand that knocks Tolits into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Marciano drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Paneda gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Marciano could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Paneda pulls guard successfully.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Paneda holds on and takes a little breather. Marciano might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Paneda is looking to sinch up a triangle. Marciano throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Paneda's body to avoid the submission. Paneda has instead reached around Marciano's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Paneda arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kane moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Diaz throws an off balance right hand
and Kane counters with a low kick, right behind Diaz 's knee. Kane throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Diaz throws a hook to the side of Kane's head but Kane sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Kane staying out of range there. Kane looks to land a left hand but Diaz moved out of range nicely. Diaz avoids the head kick by Kane.
A big right from Diaz misses. Kane throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Diaz throws a jab but it's blocked by Kane. Kane moves away from the strike by Diaz. Kane cracks Diaz with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Diaz lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kane lands a jab to Diaz's midsection. Diaz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kane uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Diaz. Diaz swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

It looks like Paquito Diaz has been cut. Hairy Kane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Diaz takes a swing at Kane's ribcage but misses. Diaz walks into a stiff left hand from Kane. Diaz takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Kane swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Kane connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Kane throws a lazy right hand but Diaz sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Paquito Diaz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kane tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Diaz displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kane throws out the jab. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kane lands a slapping body shot.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kane throws out a loose jab but Diaz uses good head movement to avoid it. Kane takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Kane shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Kane lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Kane scores with a spinning back kick! Kane slips a jab from Diaz. Rua takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Boksingero digs a good body shot into Rua's ribs. Boksingero scores with a jab.
