Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Flavio Sandoval (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bishop Deacon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Deacon has chosen You Raise me Up by Josh Groban as his entrance music. Bishop Deacon told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Flavio Sandoval! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bishop Deacon! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deacon darts in and clinches Sandoval up against the cage. Nice body punch from Sandoval. A shot in the inside from Sandoval. Deacon lands a right hand. Sandoval taking a breather. Deacon scores with a nice hook to the head. Sandoval lands a hook to the side of the head. Deacon jumps guard but Sandoval stands there with Deacon around his waist. Deacon gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sandoval lands a shoulder strike. Sandoval lands a hook to the side of the head. Deacon tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Sandoval working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Sandoval gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Deacon regains guard.
Sandoval wants to pass the guard but Deacon is keeping the position. Sandoval is working hard here to advance position.

Sandoval is thwarting Deacon's attempts to control the position. Sandoval is pressing down on Deacon's thigh, looking to free his foot. Deacon is holding on for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sandoval missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Sandoval slips a nice elbow through Deacon's hands, connecting with Deacon's forehead. Deacon is not content to let Sandoval control the position.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Sandoval works his foot free and advances to mount. Deacon keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Sandoval avoids the attempt from Deacon to control. Sandoval trying to control but Deacon is having none of it. Sandoval sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Deacon tries to get back to half guard but can't. Sandoval wants to control the pace but Deacon is squirming around nicely. Poor strikes thrown by Sandoval there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Deacon holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Sandoval tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Deacon throws a lazy right hand but Sandoval sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Nice straight punches there by Deacon. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Deacon. Deacon missing with a left hand there. Sandoval was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Sandoval throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Sandoval works Deacon's body with a nice hook. Sandoval thows a left - swing and a miss! Deacon takes a swing at Sandoval's ribcage but misses. Deacon throws a nice outside leg kick. Sandoval throws a jab when Deacon was well out of range. Sandoval moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Deacon throws a nice looking combination but Sandoval bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Deacon is looking to clinch. Deacon tries to work over Sandoval's front leg with a kick but Sandoval checks it. Sandoval scores with a nice right hand.
Deacon waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Sandoval. Deacon will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
This has been an exciting period of action! Sandoval fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
 That's one minute gone in the round. A big left from Sandoval misses. Sandoval misses with an uppercut. Deacon saw that one coming. A solid body kick from Sandoval. Deacon with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sandoval to score with a decent uppercut. Flavio Sandoval is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Deacon uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sandoval. Sandoval slips under a jab from Deacon. Sandoval connects with the punch. Flavio Sandoval seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Deacon clinches up against the cage. Deacon misses with a short punch on the inside. Deacon has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Sandoval avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Sandoval wants to pass the guard but Deacon is keeping the position. Sandoval engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Sandoval's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Deacon wants to get back to his feet but Sandoval passes into half guard.
Sandoval is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Deacon tries to get to full guard but Sandoval has control of the leg. Deacon is in trouble now - Sandoval has advanced to mount! Sandoval misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Sandoval working the ground and pound effectively.
Sandoval thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Sandoval tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Sandoval working Deacon over with strikes here. Deacon is squirming around, avoiding Sandoval's attempts to control the action. Sandoval prevents Deacon from getting the reversal. Sandoval can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Deacon is looking to escape. Flavio Sandoval overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Sandoval breaks from Deacon's wrist control and lands an elbow. Deacon is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
A nice elbow there by Sandoval. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sandoval working away from the top, dropping strikes. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Sandoval cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Deacon wants to control but Sandoval is having none of it. Deacon is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Sandoval pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Deacon walks into a left hand. Sandoval throws an overhand right that lands on Deacon's shoulder, as Deacon tries to avoid the shot. A jab lands there for Sandoval. Sandoval throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Sandoval lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Deacon blocks the body kick.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Deacon uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sandoval. Deacon ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Deacon moves out of range of the strikes. Deacon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Deacon misses with a looping right. The crowd cheers as Sandoval lands an impressive looking overhand right. Deacon doesn't seem phased though. Deacon looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Deacon misses the jab. Deacon clobbers Sandoval with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Deacon on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Sandoval misses with a hook. Deacon ducked under it nicely. A jab from Deacon misses. Deacon misses with a hook. Deacon takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Sandoval lands with a kick to the ribs.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Sandoval throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Deacon walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Sandoval checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sandoval lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. An inside leg kick from Deacon misses. A solid body kick from Sandoval. Deacon takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Sandoval is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Sandoval scores with a shot to the body.
Sandoval throws a looping overhand right but Deacon ducks down to avoid it. Sandoval lands with a nice body kick. Sandoval ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Sandoval misses with a head kick.
Nice cross by Deacon. Sandoval misses with a straight left. Deacon takes a body punch but keeps moving. Deacon misses with a body shot.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Deacon misses with a right hand and Sandoval counters with a good, hard body kick but Deacon shrugs it off. Sandoval throws a leg kick which misses Deacon's front leg but catches the back leg as Deacon tries to avoid it. Deacon avoids a kick to the body.
Sandoval is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Deacon can do to turn this around? Sandoval works Deacon's body with a nice hook. Deacon takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Deacon walks into a jab. Sandoval throws a nice head kick!
Bishop Deacon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sandoval throws out a loose jab but Deacon uses good head movement to avoid it. Deacon takes one on the button.
 Deacon is rocked! Sandoval darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Deacon is still on wobbly legs! Can Sandoval finish him? Deacon has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Sandoval. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A punch lands to the side of Deacon 's head but he takes it in his stride. Sandoval walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Deacon drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Sandoval swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Deacon's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Flavio Sandoval! Flavio Sandoval really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Popeye’s Spinach - 159 + 158 Proof Supps logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dang shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Becks tries to close the distance and clinch but Dang swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Becks throws a head kick but Dang moves out of range.
Dang with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Becks fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. A jab from Dang misses. Becks throws a sloppy head kick and Dang moves out of range easily. Becks swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Dang makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. No luck with that takedown attempt from Becks. A solid leg kick lands there for Becks.
Dang lands with a nice body punch. The fighters circling - Dang throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Dang looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Dang fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Becks is out of range.

Becks tries to clinch up. Becks shoots in for a takedown but Dang shows good takedown defense. Becks uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dang. Becks moves in looking to clinch but Dang pushes him off. Becks uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dang.

The fight stays on the outside here - Becks looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Dang darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Good work by Becks as he checks the leg kick.
Becks drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Dang jabs Becks to the body, keeping him at a distance. Becks ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dang moves away. Becks checks a leg kick. Becks tries to clinch but fails miserably and Dang counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Becks fails in his attempt to clinch. Eric Dang is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Becks doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Nice defenses there by Becks. A left lands for Dang. Dang lands with a cross. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Becks tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Dang is able to avoid easily. He's got his arms around Dang's waist but Dang gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Becks off to one side.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bj Becks. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Becks, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

16 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, JeanGuy Rubberboot! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Rubberboot does no damage. Rubberboot dives in and grabs Kayo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kayo pushes down on Rubberboot's head and hops out. Kayo throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Kayo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
No joy there for Kayo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rubberboot moves out of range of the leg kick from Kayo. Kayo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kayo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rubberboot sees it coming and avoids it easily. Rubberboot gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kayo. A nice leg kick lands there from Rubberboot. Rubberboot cracks Kayo with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rubberboot dodges the punch combination from Kayo.
Kayo lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Kayo misses with a wild combination.
Nice body kick there by Rubberboot. Kayo is breathing heavily. Rubberboot lands a front kick. Kayo thows a body shot but no joy.
Rubberboot fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kayo sprawls well initially but Rubberboot persists and gets the takedown into half guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kayo content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

JeanGuy Rubberboot dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Some bone on bone action there as Kayo checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Kayo throws a low kick, looking for Rubberboot's leg but Rubberboot calmly moves out of range.
Rubberboot closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kayo to the mat! Kayo manages to get full guard. Rubberboot throws a big elbow that misses. Rubberboot loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Rubberboot stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kayo swivels though and keeps the full guard. Rubberboot landing some decent shots from guard. JeanGuy Rubberboot has got the better of the ground game so far. Kayo avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kayo keeping moving, preventing Rubberboot from controlling successfully.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Rubberboot throwing strikes but missing. Rubberboot wants to control from the top but Kayo keeps moving. Rubberboot working some strikes from top position. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rubberboot's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Rubberboot postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Rubberboot passes into half guard. Kayo pushes Rubberboot off looking to stand but Rubberboot dives back in and keeps control.

Rubberboot is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kayo is just riding it out for now. Rubberboot eventually gives up the hold.

Rubberboot missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rubberboot uses his free foot to push down on Kayo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kayo.
Rubberboot is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Kayo has managed to escape the submission attempt.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Kayo is squirming around, avoiding Rubberboot's attempts to control the action. Rubberboot punching from mount but Kayo doing a good job of avoiding damage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kayo tries to reverse the position but Rubberboot maintains control. Rubberboot tries to control but Kayo wriggling away. Rubberboot postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kayo looks a forlorn figure.

JeanGuy Rubberboot showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Kayo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Dukic wants to slow Aetius down by chopping away at his legs. Aetius avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Aetius turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Aetius misses with a leg kick. Aetius uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dukic.

He's got hold of a leg but Dukic swivels and escapes. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dukic fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Dukic scores with a one two! Aetius had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Foster rolls with it to try and escape but Connor cranks on the arm and Foster is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some bone on bone action there as Wray checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Wray scores with a kick to the midsection. Wray throws a jab when Morgan was well out of range. Wray fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Morgan. Morgan misses with a low kick.
Wray misses with a hook. Morgan ducked under it nicely. Morgan moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Morgan lands with a kick to the temple. Wray shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" A clash of legs there as Wray blocks the low kick. The crowd cheers as Wray lands an impressive looking overhand right. Morgan doesn't seem phased though. A thudding body kick lands there by Morgan!
Wray bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Morgan throws a head kick that misses. Morgan throws a sloppy head kick and Wray moves out of range easily. Morgan lands a body shot.
Wray lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wray throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Morgan thows a body shot but no joy. Morgan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Morgan feints and then cracks Wray's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Wray down.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Wray lands a leg kick that knocks Morgan off balance momentarily. Morgan throws a front kick aimed at Wray's knee but Wray avoids it well. Morgan takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Wray tries to close the distance and clinch up but Morgan swats him away and circles back towards the center.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Wray creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Wray goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Wray because Morgan was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
