2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brayden Lovell! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lovell tries a head kick but it misses.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Earp. A decent looking body kick lands there for Lovell. A head kick misses from Lovell. Brayden Lovell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Earp tries a low kick but Lovell avoids it. Earp tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lovell swivels and escapes. The fight stays on the outside here - Earp looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Earp wants to clinch up but Lovell keeps it at a distance. Lovell slips a jab and a cross from Earp.

It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lovell defends it well. Lovell is trying to maintain the position but Earp is very close to passing his half guard. Lovell wants to hold on but Earp pushes him away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Earp in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Estep wants to get back to full guard but Prototype has passed into side control. Prototype wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Estep, who protects the arm well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Estep is looking to regain half guard here but Prototype keeps moving and retains side control. Estep can't do much from the bottom here. Prototype wants to lay and pray for a moment but Estep keeps working. Prototype is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Estep looks calm but he's in trouble here. Prototype gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Estep is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Prototype lets go of the hold and Estep can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Blankenship gets slowly back to his feet. Blankenship showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from StClair.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. StClair is trying to force a seperation but Blankenship has the dominant position. Well StClair has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Erek Horton misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Nick Horton closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Nick Horton is looking for a kimura but Erek Horton is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Nick Horton to get the leverage. Nick Horton controlling the pace. Nick Horton prevents Erek Horton from improving his position. Nick Horton passes to side control. Erek Horton tries to get back to half guard but can't. You can see the frustration on Erek Horton's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Nick Horton pushes Erek Horton up against the cage in a clinch. Erek Horton lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Erek Horton tries to avoid it but Nick Horton manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Erek Horton to the ground. Erek Horton escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Horton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nick Horton is breathing heavily. Nick Horton bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Erek Horton's face as Nick Horton controls the position. Nick Horton seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Erek Horton for as long as he can get away with. Erek Horton is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Nick Horton asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Nick Horton trying to control the action but Erek Horton is working from the bottom. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Nick Horton decides to stand back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Erek Horton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Estep drives through and clinches with Stamper against the cage.
Stamper is trying to trip Estep. He has hold of a leg but Estep is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Stamper persists though and gets the takedown into guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Stamper looking to sit in guard and control but Estep gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Stamper throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Stamper working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Estep doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Estep manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Estep is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. The ref stands the fighters back up. Brian Estep wasn't doing enough on the ground. Stamper feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Stamper is breathing heavily. Estep bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stamper's guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stamper can do anything to dispel that myth. Stamper trying to control the position.

It's a sloppy attempt though and Estep jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Estep accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stamper working for submissions but it's allowed Estep to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Estep works his way into side control. Estep stands up and we're back to a striking position. Stamper throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Estep gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Stamper counters with a low kick, right behind Estep 's knee. Estep dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Horrible takedown by Stamper or perhaps it was just good defense by Estep which made him look bad. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Estep is trying to control the position but Stamper postures up. Estep wriggles free and stands up. Nice sprawl there from Stamper as Estep shoots in. Stamper looks to land a combination. Estep sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Stamper stuffs the takedown. Stamper closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Estep to the mat! Estep manages to get full guard.

Harry Stamper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Well Estep has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Lane falls off balance throwing a combination
and Butler counters with a solid body kick. Butler closes the distance and pushes Lane back into the cage. Butler has Lane pressed against the cage, preventing Lane from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Butler jumps guard and drags Lane to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Butler can do anything to dispel that myth. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Butler has Lane pulled in close to control his posture. Lane knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Butler on the ground. Butler trying to control the position.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Butler looking for the choke but no joy.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Butler lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. Harvey tried to block low but the kick was high! Harvey was taken right off of his feet! Lovell jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!

Gibbs lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hagan! The referee warns Hagan that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gibbs is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hagan can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Gibbs lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Hagan hang on? As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. That was a close second round but I would say that Jethro Gibbs will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
