The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGregor goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
McGregor moves in looking to clinch but Smith pushes him off.
McGregor tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Smith manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A telegraphed right hand from Smith misses the target.
Smith keeps the fight on the outside.
Smith fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McGregor manages to avoid it.
McGregor swings for the body but Smith moves out of range.
Smith swings and misses with a hook to the body.
