The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adams has managed to clinch.
Adams pulls guard. Adams trying to keep a closed guard but Sexington is proving a slippery customer.
Sexington preventing the sweep. Adams wants to stand but Sexington is controlling the position. Adams keeping moving, preventing Sexington from controlling successfully. Adams escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sexington gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Sexington postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adams keeping full guard, as Sexington tries to pass. Adams wants to stand but Sexington is controlling the position. Sexington must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Adams is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Sexington keeps the fight on the outside. Adams throws a series of punches but Sexington moves out of range. Adams fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Adams has closed the distance and engaged Sexington in a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Adams pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Sexington walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Adams checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Samuel Adams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Adams shoots in looking for a takedown. Sexington tries to sprawl out of it but Adams keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sexington manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Adams is defended easily by Sexington. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Samuel Adams. That's going to take a lot out of him. Adams looks to land a combination but Sexington avoids it well. Adams fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sexington. Adams fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Adams fails to land with a series of punches.
Adams is breathing heavily. No luck for Sexington with that takedown attempt. Sexington tries to close the distance and clinch up but Adams swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sexington throws a head kick that misses. Sexington defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Adams. Adams scores with a punch to the head. Adams tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sexington sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Adams somewhat. Sexington tries to clinch but Adams moves out of range. Adams wants to clinch up but Sexington keeps it at a distance. Adams throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sexington tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Adams is in Sexington's guard. Adams is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Adams lands a couple of elbows. Sexington has a closed guard, preventing Adams from standing up. Adams seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Samuel Adams has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Adams lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

It looks like Chad Sexington has been cut. Adams closes the distance and clinches. Adams breaks the clinch.
Adams shoots for a takedown but Sexington saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Adams clinches with his opponent.
Sexington stalling in the clinch but Adams improves position. Adams has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Sexington avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Samuel Adams. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sexington blocks an elbow strike from Adams.
Sexington is trying to pull guard but Adams has him pressed against the cage. Adams turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Adams manages to end up in side control. Sexington is breathing heavily. Adams decides to stand back up. Adams scores with a nice right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sexington shoots in for a takedown but Adams shows good takedown defense.

Sexington defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Adams. Adams gets a clinch. Adams jumps into guard, dragging Sexington to the mat.
Sexington looking to sit in guard and control but Adams gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Adams trying to control but Sexington is working from the bottom. Sexington is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Adams stays in close to Sexington's body and controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Adams wants to control from the top but Sexington keeps moving. Adams is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sexington is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
We're going to have a standup here because Samuel Adams wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Adams fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Sexington avoids the head kick by Adams.
Adams changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sexington looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. This has been an exciting period of action! Adams working the ground and pound from side control. Samuel Adams overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Adams working the body and head with strikes. Adams takes a little break here. Sexington wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sexington is not content to let Adams control the position. Adams tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Adams has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Sexington trying to remain calm as Adams controls from the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sexington is positioning himself to get back to half guard. A lull in the action here as Adams stalls from top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Samuel Adams dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Chad Sexington's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Adams gets the takedown into side control. Adams cracks Sexington with a big elbow. Adams is staying tight to Sexington's torso, preventing him from escaping. Adams is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sexington can do to turn this around? Sexington is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Adams off and has taken his back! Adams tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Adams tries to lock up and control but Sexington gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Adams avoids a strike by Sexington and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Sexington's guard! Fantastic escape!
Sexington takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Sexington looking for subs off his back but Adams has passed one foot through into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adams stands up out of the half guard. Adams fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sexington sprawls well initially but Adams persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Adams in particular looking to stall. Adams working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Adams is looking for a kimura but Sexington is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Adams to get the leverage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Adams drops an elbow to the side of Sexington's head. Adams working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Adams performing his best blanket impression for a moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Adams wants to take a breather but Sexington is having none of it. Adams slows the pace down in half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sexington wants to get back to full guard but Adams has mounted him!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Adams scoring with strikes but Sexington is staying in there. Adams punishing his opponent with strikes. Adams putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Adams cracks Sexington with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Adams sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Adams pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Sexington is squirming around, avoiding Adams's attempts to control the action. Adams has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Adams lands a big shot there that rocks Sexington but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Carter postures up in Niaz's guard and throws a big left but Niaz blocks it. Carter throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Niaz works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Carter is taking a break and basically stalling. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Assange looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Church! Assange prevents Church from getting the reversal. Assange with shots to the head and body - Church looks very uncomfortable down there. Church sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Assange is keen to just control but Church is a slippery customer. Church wants to control but Assange is keeping busy.
Church wants to improve his position but Assange is controlling well.
Church is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Assange's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Assange's back!
That's one minute gone in the round. Assange controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Church is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Assange has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Assange is trying to stand back up. Church has got one arm under Assange's chin. This could be trouble... Assange trying to control the other hand but Church gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Assange has tapped out! The fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gauge throws out a leg kick but Snuka moves out of range and Gauge only half commits. Gauge avoids the head kick by Snuka.
Gauge lands with a nice combination. Snuka backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Jimmi Snuka has been cut. Snuka tries to clinch up but Gauge circles away and keeps his distance. Snuka shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gauge pinned against the cage. Gauge gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Snuka tries to clinch up. Jimmi Snuka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Snuka moves forwards but Gauge connects with a nice, crisp jab. Gauge throws a body punch but Snuka moves out of range. Gauge misses with a two punch combination.
Snuka throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gauge's waist but Gauge gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Snuka off to one side. Snuka is looking to clinch but Gauge is avoiding it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gauge swings away with a leg kick that misses. Snuka fails with an attempt to clinch.
Snuka tries for a takedown but Gauge sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Gregory Gauge has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmi Snuka. Snuka misses with a head kick.
Snuka looks gassed! Gauge misses the jab. Horrible takedown by Snuka or perhaps it was just good defense by Gauge which made him look bad. Snuka moves forwards but Gauge connects with a nice, crisp jab. Gauge misses with a body shot.

Gauge jabs Snuka right on the nose. Snuka blinks but takes it well.

Snuka takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Gauge finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Snuka shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gauge misses with a wild body shot. Gauge lands a head shot. Gauge lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Snuka at a distance.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Gauge cracks Snuka with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Snuka stuffs the takedown attempt from Gauge. Gauge gets slowly back to his feet. Danga de danga de dang - Gauge scores with a four punch combination! Gauge tests Snuka's chin there with a solid looking shot. Nice body punch from Gauge. Gauge throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Snuka stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Gauge lands a nice shot that snaps Snuka's head back.
Gauge throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Snuka.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Snuka has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Gauge finds it's way round the side to connect with Snuka's head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gauge digs a good body shot into Snuka's ribs. Gauge is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Gauge misses with a double jab.
Gauge scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Gauge wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Gauge dips to his left and cracks Snuka with an uppercut! Gauge thuds his right hand into Snuka's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Gauge moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Snuka takes a body punch but keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gregory Gauge dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jimmi Snuka's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Gauge lands a head shot. Snuka is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gauge sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Snuka throws a low kick, looking for Gauge's leg but Gauge calmly moves out of range. A clash of legs there as Snuka blocks the low kick. Gauge throws a big shot that misses. Gauge lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Snuka backs up against the cage.
Gauge lands with a nice combination. Snuka backs away looking to recover. Gauge throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Snuka walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Snuka misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Snuka is breathing heavily. Gauge swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Snuka.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snuka blocks a low kick nicely. Gauge dips to his left and cracks Snuka with an uppercut! Gauge cracks Snuka with a good jab. Gauge just misses with a punch to the body.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Snuka might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Gauge has got the better of the exchanges. Gauge cracks Snuka with an open hand slap. Snuka takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Gauge misses with a wild body shot. Snuka has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Snuka moves forwards but Gauge connects with a nice, crisp jab. Gauge lands a nice looking body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gauge throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Snuka stumbling backwards into the cage! Snuka bounces back off the cage towards Gauge, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Gauge lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Gauge celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spanked shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Monteiro as he avoids it easily. Spanked tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Monteiro paws at him with a jab and circles away. Spanked closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Monteiro quickly recovers to half guard. Spanked is thwarting Monteiro's attempts to control the position. Monteiro tries to get to full guard but Spanked has control of the leg. Monteiro is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Spanked's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Spanked's back! Monteiro is not going to allow Spanked to sit and survive in this position. Monteiro is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Spanked showing good submission defense here.

Pena moves to clinch but Box breaks away and Box counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Box circles away from the clinch attempt and Box cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Box digs a good hook to Pena's body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bone misses with a series of wild punches.
Savage throws a solid leg kick but Bone takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Savage. Savage connects with a looping right hand.
Savage feints and then cracks Bone's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bone down. Savage connects with a solid leg kick. Bone misses with a kick to the body and Savage counters with a nice leg kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Savage tries to clinch up. Savage lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!
