Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kangas Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shakir Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Khan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Try and Catch Me. Nelson has chosen Erase Me, Kid Cudi as his entrance music. Shakir Nelson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Khan moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Shakir Nelson has been cut. Khan misses with a hook
and Nelson counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Khan is lucky that one didn't land flush. Khan drops Nelson with a beautiful combination! Nelson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Khan is looking for the KO!
Nelson is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Khan misses with a two punch combination.
Nelson is still on wobbly legs! Can Khan finish him? Nelson gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Khan points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Nelson wakes up just in time to hear Khan thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wolfe misses with a low kick as Ray jumps back. Wolfe tries a head kick but it misses.
Wolfe throws a lazy uppercut
and Ray counters by moving into the clinch. Ray tries to break free but Wolfe pushes him back against the cage. A head punch on the inside from Ray fails to land. Wolfe's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. No luck with that takedown attempt from Ray. Wolfe connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Wolfe scores with a jab to the jaw. Ray has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Ray there as he acknowledges the shot. This has been an exciting period of action! Wolfe cracks Ray with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Ray falls to his knees and Wolfe doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ironside wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Ironside jabs Hoost to the body, keeping him at a distance. Hoost checks a leg kick. Hoost throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Ironside fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hoost manages to avoid it. Ironside dives in and grabs Hoost's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hoost pushes down on Ironside's head and hops out. Ironside throws out a leg kick but Hoost moves out of range and Ironside only half commits. Hoost shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Ironside throws a low kick, looking for Hoost's leg but Hoost calmly moves out of range. A leg kick checked by Hoost. Ironside has his head snapped back a nice jab. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hoost manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Hoost looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Some bone on bone action there as Ironside checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Hoost checks the leg kick. Hoost connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Ironside throws a body punch but Hoost moves out of range. Hoost thumps Ironside with a low kick. Hoost lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Ironside misses with a head kick.
Ironside takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Horrible takedown by Ironside or perhaps it was just good defense by Hoost which made him look bad. Hoost fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ironside has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Crunch! Hoost slams his shin into Ironside's torso. Hoost is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ironside can do to turn this around? Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Hoost.
Ironside tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Ironside takes a shot right to the bread basket. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Ironside might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Hoost has got the better of the exchanges. Hoost thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Ironside if he has to take too many more of those.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walter wants to clinch. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Walter. Couture displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Walter. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Couture is defended easily by Walter. Walter defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Couture. Walter looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Couture closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Walter's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Couture got a little sloppy there for a moment and Walter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Couture has managed to get both his arms back between Walter's legs - danger averted. Couture connects with a couple of short punches. Fortt wants to free his trapped foot but Ninja is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! LaVey lands with a cross. LaVey lands a body shot.
LaVey is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Price misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Price's hands are dropping dangerously low here and LaVey connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Price scrambles back to his feet. Price fails with the takedown and LaVey connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Donk. LaVey catches Price right on the button with a cross. Price is looking to clinch but LaVey is avoiding it.

Price shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has LaVey pinned against the cage. LaVey gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. LaVey works Price's body with a nice hook. LaVey lands a jab to the nose. LaVey jabs at Price's body. LaVey punishes Price's body with a nice straight punch. LaVey ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Price seems to have got his legs back now. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. LaVey takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Price takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. LaVey connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Price tumbling to the canvas! LaVey pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Price was done - good stoppage!

Horrible takedown by Andrakovski or perhaps it was just good defense by Inglish which made him look bad. Andrakovski gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Inglish gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Andrakovski is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
