The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patton throws a nice inside leg kick.
Patton cracks the inside of Nelson's front leg.
Patton tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Patton closes the distance and clinches.
Nelson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Patton pulls his leg out and moves away.
Patton shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Patton throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Nelson misses with a head kick.
Patton fails in his attempt to clinch.
Patton just misses with a punch to the body.

Nelson moves into the clinch.
Nelson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Patton lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Nelson or not.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Patton taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Nelson tries to stall but Patton uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Patton has Nelson pressed against the cage, preventing Nelson from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Patton lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Nelson backwards.
Nelson wants to take the fight to the mat but Patton manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Patton is working Nelson over against the cage.

Nelson has picked Patton up - he's going for a ride! Nelson dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Patton is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Nelson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Nelson's back!

Patton lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

Nelson tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Patton postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Nelson badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Patton around the waist but Patton pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Patton is the winner by TKO! Patton jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Walker Patton!
A relieved looking Walker Patton thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Bang. Those never looked like landing.
Bang moves out of range as Tarzan strikes.

Bang drives through and clinches with Tarzan against the cage.
Bang wants to break the clinch but can't.
Bang is trying to break free.
A short right from Tarzan.

Tarzan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bang has a takedown stuffed.
Tarzan feints and then cracks Bang's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bang down.
Tarzan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bang throws a series of punches but Tarzan moves out of range.
Bang will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tarzan scores with a jab. Bang acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bang steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Tarzan.
Tarzan stuffs the takedown.
Tarzan throws a right hand that Bang ducks under and follows up with a left that Bang also avoids with ease.
Bang looks up at the clock. Bad move! Tarzan lands a right hand from hell, dropping Bang. Tarzan pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Teijo Tarzan!
After winning the bout, Teijo Tarzan thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Verson shoots in for a takedown but Jefferson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Horrible takedown by Verson or perhaps it was just good defense by Jefferson which made him look bad.

Verson gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Jefferson lands a shoulder strike.

Jefferson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Verson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jefferson but Jefferson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jeffy Jefferson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rodrigo Verson.

Jefferson is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Verson has managed to escape the submission attempt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Zalinski is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Gromowski rather than just go for the knockout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
