Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Sandy Jakh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Lane Lau! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jakh throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. The fight stays on the outside here - Lau looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A head kick misses from Jakh. Jakh is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Lau. Jakh drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lau manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Jakh not doing much here.
Lau tries to get to full guard but Jakh has control of the leg. Jakh is thwarting Lau's attempts to control the position. Lau tries to roll over but Jakh keeps him under control. Jakh trying to control the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lau is trying to maintain the position but Jakh is very close to passing his half guard. Jakh is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Decent striking displayed by Lau there. Sandy Jakh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Lau tries to clinch up but Jakh circles away and keeps his distance. Lau pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Lau throws a right and a left that both miss. Nice sprawl there from Lau as Jakh shoots in. Jakh is breathing heavily. Jakh changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lau looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Jakh will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Lau struggling a bit here. Jakh tries for a kimura but Lau is defending well. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Lau tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jakh wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Jakh decides to stand up, so the ref orders Lau to his feet. Jakh decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Lau tries to roll over but Jakh keeps him under control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jakh keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Jakh is working for a kimura but Lau is defending it quite comfortably.
Jakh perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Jakh really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Lau is trying to get back to full guard. Lau is looking to control Jakh's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lau avoid being mounted? Jakh with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Jakh is keen to just control but Lau is a slippery customer.

Lau regains full guard. Nicely done. Lau wants to sweep but no luck. Lau bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jakh's guard.

That could spell trouble for Jakh! Lau goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Jakh is on top in guard.

Lau Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jakh's back instead. Jakh covers up after that shot from Lau.
Jakh tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Lau trying to control but Jakh is having none of it. Lau prevents Jakh from getting the reversal. Lau is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Jakh has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Jakh! Jakh controlling from the top position.

Jakh shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lau but Lau pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jakh throws a head kick that misses. Lau lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Lau tries to clinch but Jakh is having none of it. Lau has his takedown stuffed and Jakh counters with a single leg into guard. Lau didn't expect that. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jakh passes Lau's left leg - he's now in half guard. Lau missing with punches from the bottom.

Jakh has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Lau is not content to let Jakh control the position. Lau is trying to work for a sweep but Jakh has mounted him! Jakh looking to control but Lau is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Lau tries to hold on but Jakh pushes him away.

Jakh slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lau's guard. Jakh drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jakh jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Lau looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Jakh has picked Lau up and slammed him! Lau can't keep hold of the triangle and Jakh manages to pass to side control! Lau is looking for a sweep.

You can see the frustration on Lau's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Lau sneaks back into half guard. Lau is trying to get back to full guard. Lau has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Jakh escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Jakh! Lau tries to get back to half guard but can't. Sandy Jakh overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lau struggling a bit here.

Lau tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jakh wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Jakh controls the position from side control. Lane Lau has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Lau is looking to reverse the position. Lau looking for a sweep but Jakh has passed into full mount! Oh no! Jakh controlling from mount.

Guy drops his hands momentarily and Khali takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Guy shoots for a takedown but Khali saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Guy moves away from the strike by Khali. Khali throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Guy. Khali throws a hook but Guy avoids it easily. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Sjoberg looking to pass the guard. Sjoberg wants to control from the top but Zieniek keeps moving. Zieniek wants to sweep here but Sjoberg controlling him for the moment. Sjoberg stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zieniek swivels though and keeps the full guard. Cody working for a choke but Bourque is defending well. Cody is controlling the position but Bourque somehow manages to roll and ends up with half guard.
Cody thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bourque's head.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Cody tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bourque knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Cody working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Bourque's thigh. Bourque counters though and makes it back to full guard. Bourque looking to control.
Cody working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Bourque looking for a sweep. Not yet Bourque, not yet.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bourque tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Cody counters with a takedown into side control.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Cody tries to move to mount but Bourque blocks the move with his legs. Cody is looking to take a break and control but Bourque is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bourque tries to get back to half guard but can't. Bourque takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Bourque is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Cody asserts his dominance and retains side control. Cody tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cody advances to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bruce Cody dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!
Cody tries for a takedown but Bourque sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Bourque gets a clinch. Bourque looks to throw an elbow but misses. Bourque tries to land a knee to the head but Cody blocks with his arms.

Cody tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bourque just stands there and leans against the ropes. Brian Bourque has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Cody. Cody escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bourque tries to close the distance and clinch but Cody swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Bourque tries to clinch but fails miserably and Cody counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bourque won't be happy with that. Cody trying to control the action but Bourque is working from the bottom. Bourque tries to get back to half guard but can't. Cody looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Cody working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bourque is looking to regain half guard here but Cody keeps moving and retains side control. Cody prevents Bourque from escaping the position. Cody is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bourque is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Cody is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Bourque is trying to escape and Cody transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Bourque is forced to tap! Nice work there by Cody! Very nice indeed!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boondocks misses with a body shot.
James misses with a hook. Boondocks moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Lebron James has been cut. James keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Boondocks looks to score with a jab to the body but James is just out of range. James slips a jab and a cross from Boondocks.
Boondocks throws a wild combination but nothing lands. James avoids a punch combination nicely.
Boondocks moves out of range of the leg kick from James. Boondocks throws a combination but it was largely blocked by James. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. James lands a head shot.
It looks like Billy Boondocks has been cut. Boondocks misses with a two punch combination.
Boondocks throws a wild combination but nothing lands. James drops Boondocks with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Boondocks looks back up at him and smiles so James waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

That's one minute gone in the round. James punishes Boondocks's body with a nice straight punch. Boondocks is still on wobbly legs! Can James finish him? Boondocks looks gassed! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! James drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Boondocks's head, knocking him out cold! James is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

It looks like Kevin Kesler has been cut. Kesler tries to clinch up. Kesler throws a right hand that Williams ducks under and follows up with a left that Williams also avoids with ease. Kesler wants to stand but Williams is controlling his posture from full guard. Williams is looking to sinch up a triangle.
