11 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Alan Young! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Thor Axxe! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Donk. Axxe catches Young right on the button with a cross. Young takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Axxe moves out of range of the body kick. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Young takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Axxe fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Young's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Axxe connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Young scrambles back to his feet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Axxe tries to bum rush Young with a series of wild strikes but Young uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Axxe smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Young throws a right and a left that both miss. Young throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Young throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

It looks like Alan Young has been cut. Young throws a sloppy head kick and Axxe moves out of range easily. Axxe has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Axxe misses with a wild combination.
A jab from Young finds it's way through Axxe's defenses. Thor Axxe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Axxe walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Young checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Young keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Halleck misses with a knee to the head. Halleck throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Dejesus blocks it with crossed arms. Halleck blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Halleck throws a knee to the head but misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Teller is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Bastardi is defending well though. Teller let's go of the attempt for now. Teller doesn't have the hooks in and Bastardi manages to turn into his guard.

Bastardi is looking to take a break and control but Teller is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bastardi thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hong looking to pass the guard. Hong trying to control the position from guard on top but Hamadoui is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hong trying to move into half guard but instead Hamadoui has managed to sweep! Hong is trying to control the position but Hamadoui postures up. Hamadoui looking to pass the guard. Hamadoui won't allow Hong to sweep him here. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Let's bang! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Fury checks a leg kick. Fury shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. This has been an exciting period of action! Stacker tries to reverse the position but Fury maintains control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Fury working away. Stacker is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Fury wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stacker keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fury goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Stacker rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Fury's guard! Nice work there by Stacker! Stacker decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fury dodges the punch combination from Stacker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Patrol checks a leg kick. Kai connects with a solid leg kick. Ashida Kai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Patrol checks a leg kick nicely. Patrol closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Patrol working the ground and pound but Kai is defending the strikes. The strikes coming from Patrol are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Patrol working away. Kai seems a little lost for a moment, as Patrol dominates the positioning. Patrol working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Patrol throws a strike aimed at the side of Kai's head but Kai avoids it well. Patrol working the head with strikes. Patrol staying calm.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kai gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Patrol throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Patrol thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Patrol not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Patrol looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kai with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Patrol thumps the canvas. That's three minutes gone in the round. Patrol missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Patrol is nestled in close to Kai, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Patrol looks to land a strike but Kai avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Kai preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Patrol got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kai has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Patrol has managed to get both his arms back between Kai's legs - danger averted. Patrol wants to pass the guard but Kai is keeping the position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Patrol accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Patrol is looking to work some ground and pound but Kai has wrist control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Patrol missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
