The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thome gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Thome lands a takedown into guard.
Thome tries to free his leg and advance position but Endez is retaining full guard.
Thome showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

Thome stands and steps away. Endez gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Endez enables Thome to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Endez manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Endez wants to stand up but Thome is controlling him.
Endez utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Thome thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Flair has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Roll clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sabacajan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rickenbacker v.2 sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sabacajan somewhat.

Sabacajan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rickenbacker v.2 pinned against the ropes. Rickenbacker v.2 gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Gibson Rickenbacker v.2 has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sean Sabacajan.
