The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fletcher swings away with a leg kick that misses. Fletcher wants to clinch up but Zala keeps it at a distance. Fletcher fails with an attempt to clinch.

Zala will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Fletcher up against the cage. Fletcher wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Zala has him pressed against the cage. Fletcher working hard to break the clinch. Zala prevents Fletcher from breaking the clinch. Fletcher has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fletcher looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Zala softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Fletcher wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Zala has him pressed against the cage. Zala comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
And that's the end of the fight! Athrun Zala showed his dominance in that final round. I think Zala has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jimenez fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Chalidow on the side of the head. Jimenez scores with a jab to the head.
It looks like Mamed Chalidow has been cut. Jimenez feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Chalidows jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Jimenez comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Chalidow is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Jimenez. Chalidow is breathing heavily. Jimenez dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Chalidow takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Chalidow gets the takedown into side control. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Chalidow cracks Jimenez with a big elbow. Chalidow misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Jones fights it but they end up in guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Bjj chips away with some ground and pound. Bjj wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bjj accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Bjj trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Bjj tries to stand but Jones is controlling from the bottom. Bjj throws a strike but Jones rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Jones has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Harry Cross! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Max Power! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Hugh Johnson and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Power connects with a right hand. Cross shakes it off. Power fails with an attempt to clinch.
Power goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Power fails in his attempt to clinch. Power ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Power wants to clinch. Cross swinging wildly here.
Cross looks to land a right hand but Power moved out of range. Power is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Power lands with a kick to the temple. Cross shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Power darts in trying to clinch and Cross counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Max Power has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cross swings widly with a right hand
and Power counters with an inside leg kick. Cross sizes up Power with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Power tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cross swats him away and circles back towards the center. Power uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cross. Power defending well as Cross loads up on a big left hand. Cross throws a looping overhand right but Power ducks down to avoid it. Cross thows a left - swing and a miss! Power moves out of range of the strikes. Cross scores with a nice strike. Cross is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Cross misses with a few strikes there.

That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Power uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cross. Cross misses with an uppercut. Cross throws a jab but it's blocked by Power. Power fails with an attempt to clinch.
Power pushes Cross up against the cage in a clinch. Power lands a left hand that snaps the head of Cross backwards. Power looking to slow down the pace here. Power blocking some punches.

Cross tries to circle away but Power has him pinned against the cage. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Cross wants to break free but Power has control.
Cross throws a punch but it's blocked by Power. Power has Cross pressed against the cage, preventing Cross from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Power lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Cross misses with a hook from the clinch. Power lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Cross tries to circle away but Power has him pinned against the cage. Power lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Power looking to slow down the pace here. Cross takes a knee to the side of the body. Power using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.

Cross is breathing heavily. Power landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Cross wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Power keeps control of Cross as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Cross trying to control the position but instead, Power has worked for underhooks and has pushed Cross into the cage. Power prevents Cross from breaking the clinch. Power lands a knee to the head.
Cross is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Still in the clinch, Power scores with a nice short uppercut. Cross swings wildly with an uppercut but Power uses good head movement to avoid it. Both fighters working to control the clinch. A nice glancing elbow lands by Power. Cross takes a knee to the side of the body. Cross takes a knee right on the jaw!
Power lands a good knee to the midsection. Cross won't want to take too many of those. Power lands a nice elbow from the clinch. A knee to the head by Power.
Power lands an uppercut. Power is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Cross takes a knee right on the jaw!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Power unloads a knee to the mid-section. Cross lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Power putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Cross in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Power landing knees to the body.

Cross wants to get back to striking at distance but Power won't allow it.

Power crunches a lovely knee into Cross's ribcage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A battle for position here, against the cage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Cross is rocked! Power lands a good knee to the midsection. Cross won't want to take too many of those. Oh Cross is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Power crunches a lovely knee into Cross's ribcage. Power lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Cross takes an elbow to the forehead. Power lands a big knee! That's hurt Cross! Oh, he's all over the place! Power lands another knee that sends Cross to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!

9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Vrach Daltonik! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daltonik is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fulsik. A head kick misses from Fulsik. Fulsik fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Daltonik has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. A big right from Daltonik misses. Daltonik walks forward, straight into a front kick from Fulsik. Fulsik cracks Daltonik with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Fulsik thows a body kick. Daltonik tries to catch it but that hurt him. Daltonik looks gassed! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Daltonik avoids a punch combination nicely.
Fulsik throws a nice looking combination but Daltonik bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Some wild striking there from Fulsik.
Fulsik lands a big head kick that sends Daltonik tumbling to the mat! Fulsik takes a step backwards and waves Daltonik back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Vrach Daltonik has been cut. Daltonik is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Fulsik Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Daltonik is out cold, face down on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Uleh Fulsik! In his post fight interview, Uleh Fulsik started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lesveque keeps the fight on the outside. de Souza takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Lesveque lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Lesveque lands with a hook. de Souza tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Lesveque missing with a left hand there. de Souza was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Lesveque lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Lesveque. Lesveque loads up on a big right hand but de Souza slips the punch. Pascal Lesveque seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lesveque swings and misses with a hook to the body.

He's working for the Kimura, can Lesveque defend it? de Souza steps over the head and cranks it - Lesveque is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for de Souza!
