The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gooze drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Gooze throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Vargas works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Gooze looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Vargas with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Gooze hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Silva closes the distance looking to clinch
and Muroi counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Silva thinking.
Muroi cracks Silva with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
No joy there for Muroi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Muroi thuds a left hand into Silva's body.
Bigfoot Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Muroi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Muroi ducks under a wild hook from Silva.
Silva looks to land a right hand but Muroi moved out of range.
Muroi swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Muroi fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Muroi looks to land a combination but Silva avoids it well.
Muroi scores with a crisp jab that stopped Silva in his tracks.
Muroi digs a good body shot into Silva's ribs.
Muroi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Silva.

and Muroi counters with a left and a right that stings Silva.
Silva is breathing heavily.
Muroi shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Silva eats them both and turns towards Muroi to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Bigfoot Silva has been cut.

Muroi drops Silva with a beautiful combination! Silva stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Muroi is looking for the KO!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Muroi fails to land with a series of punches.
Oh Silva is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Muroi wobbles Silva with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Muroi dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Silva to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!

After the fight, Mizushima Muroi was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Gracie gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Thoupos to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Gracie has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Thoupos should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Gracie has tightened it up now! Thoupos should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
