2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jose Domingues! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Dmitri Mironov! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mironov keeps the fight on the outside. Domingues tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mironov swivels and escapes. Mironov paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Domingues shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mironov as he avoids it easily. Domingues takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Mironov misses with a low kick as Domingues jumps back. Mironov cracks Domingues with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Domingues ducks right into an uppercut from Mironov. Domingues lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Mironov sprawling to the canvas. Domingues follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Mironov hang on?
Mironov is rocked!
It looks like Dmitri Mironov has been cut. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Domingues is thwarting Mironov's attempts to control the position. Mironov is still in real trouble! Can Domingues finish him? Mironov trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Domingues manages to pass to mount!
Mironov seems to have recovered his senses. Domingues stands up from mount. Strange move. Domingues throws a left that rocks Mironov and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Domingues dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Mironov regain composure!
That's one minute gone in the round. Mironov sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Mironov keeping control of the position. Domingues is looking to advance position but Mironov won't allow it. Domingues prevents Mironov from improving his position. Mironov moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Mironov controlling the position. Domingues trying to stand up but can't free himself from Mironov's guard. Domingues wants to control from the top but Mironov keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mironov looking to hit a scissor sweep but Domingues is one step ahead there. Domingues looking to pass the guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Nice sprawl there from Mironov as Domingues shoots in. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jose Domingues. That's going to take a lot out of him. Domingues misses with a wild body shot. Domingues shoots and misses and Mironov counters with a takedown into side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Mironov works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Domingues wants to get back to his feet. Domingues tries to get back to half guard but can't. Mironov connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Domingues some visible discomfort.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mironov working the head with strikes. Mironov trying to control the action but Domingues is working from the bottom. Mironov might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Domingues kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Mironov tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Mironov works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Mironov in side control lands a decent elbow. Mironov controlling the position. Domingues takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mironov remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Domingues can't do much from the bottom here. Mironov scoring with punches and elbows. Mironov looks up at the clock and then as Domingues takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Mironov smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Mironov trying to control the position but Domingues is working away. Mironov is putting a hurting on Domingues here, landing some big shots from side control. Domingues takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Mironov taking a break here but Domingues is having none of it and regains half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A jab from Mironov does it's job there. Mironov wants to land a leg kick but Domingues is out of range. Domingues fails to land the takedown. Mironov closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Domingues to the mat! Domingues manages to get full guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mironov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Mironov is working Domingues over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Domingues bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mironov's guard. Domingues postures up.
Domingues drops back looking for a leg! Mironov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mironov manages to kick Domingues off! Domingues jumps back into Mironov's guard. Mironov pulls Domingues in close to his closed guard and prevents Domingues from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Domingues sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mironov's guard. Mironov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Mironov trying to get back to full guard but Domingues takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Domingues is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Mironov to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Mironov shrugs it off. Mironov is trying desperately to improve position. Mironov tries to hold on but Domingues pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Domingues can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mironov is looking to escape. Dmitri Mironov has got the better of the ground game so far. Mironov is trying desperately to improve position. Domingues is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Mironov is in real trouble.
Domingues working for the choke. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Domingues is trying to stick to Mironov's back but Mironov is turning into Domingues. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Domingues's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Mironov. Mironov with a nice head shot there. Domingues not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Mironov lands a couple of digs. Mironov must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Domingues looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Jose Domingues has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Domingues had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mironov defends it easily. Mironov is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Domingues pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mironov is keeping the position for now.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Dmitri Mironov hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Mironov is looking to score with low kicks.

Djeiba thows a leg kick but Engineer checks it and Engineer counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Engineer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Djeiba throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Djeiba fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Engineer. Djeiba scores with a jab to the jaw. Good leg kick by Djeiba there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

And that's the end of the fight! Jez Donnely comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Donnely has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Didriksson tries for a takedown but Soto circles away easily and Soto counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Didriksson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Soto defends it nicely. Soto misses with a wild combination.
Didriksson connects with a solid leg kick. No luck with that takedown attempt from Didriksson. Augusto Soto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now.
