The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Giant scores with a takedown into Sapp's guard. Sapp looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but The Giant puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Sapp is trying to get back to full guard. The Giant wants to take a breather but Sapp is having none of it. The Giant lands with a punch from half guard. The Giant lands strikes from half guard. Sapp is trying to get back to full guard. The Giant is trying to control the action in half guard but Sapp is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Sapp might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Sapp works his way to full guard. Good work. Horrible takedown by The Giant or perhaps it was just good defense by Sapp which made him look bad. Warren Sapp has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yokozuma The Giant. Sapp shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The Giant looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sapp is one step ahead there. The Giant is looking to stand up but Sapp isn't so interested in that idea.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Austin fails with the takedown. Phelan thumps Austin with a low kick. Phelan tries to clinch up. Phelan tries to keep at a distance but Austin has taken the fight into the clinch. Phelan should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Phelan jumps guard but Austin stands there with Phelan around his waist. Phelan gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson moves into range and clinches up with Beckham. Beckham tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jackson just stands there and leans against the cage. Jackson keeps control of Beckham as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Beckham has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jackson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Beckham tries to pull guard but Jackson holds him up against the cage and eventually Beckham drops back down to his feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Holmes looks to land a combination. Dean sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Holmes closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Dean tries to kick Holmes off but Holmes keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Holmes lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Holmes looks to score some points with some ground and pound. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dean is looking to control Holmes's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dean avoid being mounted? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Holmes trying to control the pace. Dean really is a fat lump. Dean keeping hold of Holmes's head, controlling as best he can.
