3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ron Stevens! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Luiz! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Luiz looks to score with a jab to the body but Stevens is just out of range. Stevens dodges the punch combination from Luiz.
Luiz with a body punch. A glancing blow. Luiz swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Stevens counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Luiz lands with a shot to the body. Stevens slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Luiz falls off balance throwing a combination
and Stevens counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Stevens throws a poor cross that misses
and Luiz counters with a stiff right hand. David Luiz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Luiz rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Stevens connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Luiz shoots in looking for a takedown. Stevens tries to sprawl out of it but Luiz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stevens manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. This has been an exciting period of action! Luiz throws a hook to the side of Stevens's head but Stevens sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Luiz feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Stevens manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Luiz throws a nice looking combination but Stevens bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Luiz looks to land a combination but Stevens avoids it well. Luiz throws a jab when Stevens was well out of range. Stevens misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Stevens throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Luiz. Stevens defending well as Luiz loads up on a big left hand. Stevens lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Stevens stuffs the takedown attempt from Luiz. Luiz gets slowly back to his feet. Ron Stevens has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Luiz. Luiz changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stevens looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Luiz trying to control the position but Stevens is working away. Not particularly brutal. Luiz in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Stevens knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Luiz on the ground.

Stevens is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Luiz connects with a nice short shot to Stevens's temple.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Luiz is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Stevens taking some punishment here, with Luiz in his half guard. Luiz sitting and controlling from the half guard. Luiz looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

David Luiz is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Luiz waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Stevens. Stevens gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Luiz to score an easy takedown into full guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Luiz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
And that's the end of the fight! David Luiz comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Luiz has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Santos De Arroyo tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gonzales is in Santos De Arroyo's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Gonzales is taking a break and basically stalling. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Back works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Benoit gets the takedown into side control. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Benoit just content to control the position. Benoit working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Back is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Benoit is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Back is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Back is trying to buck Benoit off.

Benoit misses with a takedown attempt and Back counters with a straight right hand. Benoit dives in and grabs Back's left leg, looking for a takedown. Back pushes down on Benoit's head and hops out. Randoff Back has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Benoit. Benoit shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Back but Back pushes him off and we're back to square one. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Benoit fails to land the takedown. Benoit takes one on the chin but seems OK.

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Back wants it to stay on the feet. Benoit takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Benoit takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Benoit looks gassed! Back connects with a jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Back bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Struker stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Conan. Conan pivots, looking for a leg kick but Struker is out of range and Conan settles back down. Conan throws a right and a left that Struker avoids nicely. Struker scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Conan lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Conan uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Struker has time to react. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Struker tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Conan is able to avoid easily. Conan moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Conan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Struker. That did some damage! Conan thumps Struker with a low kick. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Struker checks a leg kick. Conan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Struker circles away quickly and effectively. Conan lands a nice leg kick that just misses Struker's sensitive parts.

Oooooh!!! Conan has knocked Struker down with a huge combo! Conan steps away and waves a wobbly Struker back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Oh Struker is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Struker wants to land a leg kick but Conan is out of range. Struker seems to have got his legs back now. Conan thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Struker if he has to take too many more of those.
Conan is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Struker had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. A head kick misses from Conan. Struker misses with an uppercut. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Conan checks a leg kick. Struker misses with a lunging right hand
and Conan counters with a crisp one two that drops Struker! Conan thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Struker to his feet! Struker is in big trouble! Conan has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Conan throws a nice inside leg kick. Conan goes for a small jab and connects. Now Conan goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Struker stumbles back but Conan runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Struker to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Struker will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Laurent Tesser! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tesser looks to clinch and Bulman counters with a nice double leg into guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bulman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Tesser wants to stand up but Bulman is controlling him. Bulman lands a couple of elbows. Bulman in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tesser wants to stand and escape but Bulman is having none of it. Bulman trying to control but Tesser is working from the bottom. Bulman stands up over Tesser, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Bulman forces his way into half guard. Tesser is looking to escape. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tesser is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Bulman working the head and body with strikes. Tesser really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bulman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bulman prevents Tesser from standing back up.
Bulman has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Tesser defend it? Bulman steps over the head and cranks it - Tesser is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Bulman!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sear fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Thompson, pushing him back against the cage. Thompson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Sear throws an elbow but it misses.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Sear just misses with a elbow thrown towards Thompson's brow. Thompson avoids a wild elbow strike from Sear. Thompson avoids the elbow strike from Sear, against the cage.
Sear tries to land knees in the clinch but Thompson avoids the damage to the body. Thompson decides to pull guard. Thompson is looking for a triangle but Sear pushes his legs off easily.
Thompson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sear doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sear manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. This has been an exciting period of action! Sear wants to control from the top but Thompson keeps moving. Thompson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Thompson has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Sear is forced to tap!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! French sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. French thows a left - swing and a miss! French swings for the body but Kealekapuna moves out of range.
Kealekapuna connects with a body shot that sends French's belly button to the back. French throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kealekapuna paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
It looks like Steve French has been cut. French throws an overhand right that lands on Kealekapuna's shoulder, as Kealekapuna tries to avoid the shot. Kealekapuna takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kealekapuna misses with a low kick. French attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Kealekapuna scores with a head kick. French tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. An inside leg kick lands from Kealekapuna. French ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. French scores with a leg kick.
French throws a series of punches but Kealekapuna moves out of range. French misses with a shot to the body and Kealekapuna counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Kealekapuna scores with a nice body kick.
Kealekapuna misses with an uppercut. Kealekapuna fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt French.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kealekapuna uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by French.
French is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Kealekapuna rather than just go for the knockout. Kealekapuna bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Kealekapuna lands a leg kick that knocks French off balance momentarily. French ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kealekapuna moves away. Kealekapuna swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kealekapuna dips down and scores with a jab to the body. French looks gassed! Kealekapuna uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by French.
Kealekapuna tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kealekapuna tries to land a leg kick but French saw it coming and moves away.
Kealekapuna on the wrong end of a nice hook. An inside leg kick lands from Kealekapuna. Kealekapuna lands a big head kick that sends French tumbling to the mat! Kealekapuna takes a step backwards and waves French back to his feet - he wants the finish!
French is rocked! Moses Kealekapuna seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This has been an exciting period of action! Kealekapuna lands with a big right hook that stumbles French - he's out on his feet here! Kealekapuna follows up with another monster hook that separates French from consciousness! French falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Kealekapuna stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
