I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Phil Williams was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Tyson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Phil Williams! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tyson stuffs the takedown. Tyson throws a lazy right hand but Williams sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Tyson misses with a straight right. Tyson fails to land with a series of punches.
Williams fails with a takedown attempt. Williams closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Horrible takedown by Williams or perhaps it was just good defense by Tyson which made him look bad. Mike Tyson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Phil Williams. Tyson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Tyson is defending well against a takedown attempt. Williams lands an uppercut. Tyson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Williams pulls his leg out and moves away.

Tyson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Williams.
A head kick misses from Tyson. Williams rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tyson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Williams shoots in and bounces Tyson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Tyson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tyson has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Williams doesn't defend quickly enough and Tyson has managed to lock this one up! Can Williams escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Tyson on a fantastic submission victory.

8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Joshua Davison! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davison throws the left hand but Benn avoids the punch easily. A swing and a miss from Davison. Benn connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Davison momentarily.
Benn bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Davison missing with a left hand there. Benn was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Davison moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Davison takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Benn slips a straight right by Davison. Benn fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Davison sprawls well initially but Benn persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Benn takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Davison looking for submissions off his back. Davison actively working from the bottom here. Benn wants to lay and pray for a moment but Davison keeps working. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Davison tries to get to full guard but Benn has control of the leg. Davison tries to kick Benn off but Benn keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Well, if Benn is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Davison is staying active underneath Benn, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Benn content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Benn not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Jp Benn has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Benn cracks Davison with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Benn has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Davison to stand back up!
Davison is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Benn fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Davison is still on wobbly legs! Can Benn finish him? Benn lands with a big right hook that stumbles Davison - he's out on his feet here! Benn follows up with another monster hook that separates Davison from consciousness! Davison falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Benn stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jp Benn! A relieved looking Jp Benn thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mauser with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Reed to score with a decent uppercut.
It looks like Trent Mauser has been cut. Reed throws a lazy right hand but Mauser sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Reed misses with a looping right. A decent looking cross lands there for Mauser. Mauser lands with a hook. Reed tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Mauser pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Mauser looks to throw the jab but Reed is out of range. A left lands for Mauser.
It looks like Jebediah Reed has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Reed just misses with a punch to the body.
Mauser shoots in for a double leg but Reed sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Reed swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Reed takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Reed throws a lazy right hand but Mauser sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Reed throws a big shot that misses. Reed looks to land a left hand but Mauser moved out of range nicely. Mauser throws a right hand that Reed ducks under and follows up with a left that Reed also avoids with ease. Reed throws a hook but Mauser avoids it easily. Reed throws a poor cross that misses
and Mauser counters with a stiff right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reed takes one to the side of the head.

Mauser is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Reed arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Mauser's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Etan Xoul! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Phil Schofield and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! An inside leg kick from Xoul misses. Xoul forces Tomko back against the cage and clinches. Tomko avoids the elbow strike from Xoul, against the cage.
Xoul tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Tomko tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Xoul avoids it. Xoul breaks from the clinch.
Tomko slips a jab and a cross from Xoul.
Etan Xoul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tomko will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Tomko swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tomko shoots in looking for a takedown. Xoul tries to sprawl out of it but Tomko keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Xoul manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Xoul throws a series of punches but Tomko moves out of range. Tomko tries to keep at a distance but Xoul has taken the fight into the clinch. A short right from Xoul on the inside. Xoul fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Tomko is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Xoul gets control of Tomko's arms and successfully pulls guard. Xoul will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Xoul controls Tomko momentarily but Tomko frees himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Xoul is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Xoul gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Xoul seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Tomko wants to control but Xoul is keeping busy.
Tomko is breathing heavily. Tomko keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Xoul lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Xoul is nestled in close to Tomko, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Xoul throwing shots but Tomko is blocking nicely. Tomko desperately trying to maintain half guard. Xoul is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tomko is just riding it out for now. Xoul eventually gives up the hold. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Xoul lands a nice short elbow. Xoul is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Tomko! Tomko is in a horrible position here. Xoul smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Xoul putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Xoul looking for a guillotine from mount but Tomko is having none of it. Xoul unloading with bombs! Xoul postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Tomko looks a forlorn figure.

Xoul has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Xoul in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Xoul landing strikes from the mount and Tomko is in trouble! Xoul controlling the pace for now. Xoul scoring with strikes but Tomko is staying in there. Xoul looking for a guillotine from mount but Tomko is having none of it. Xoul breaks from Tomko's wrist control and lands an elbow. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Xoul punishing his opponent with strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Etan Xoul dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Xoul throws a right and a left that Tomko avoids nicely. Xoul will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Xoul misses with a leg kick and Tomko counters with a nice body kick. Xoul has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Xoul throws a right and a left that Tomko avoids nicely. Tomko wants to clinch up but Xoul keeps it at a distance. Tomko wants to clinch up but Xoul keeps it at a distance. Xoul looks to land a combination but Tomko avoids it well. Xoul misses with a few strikes there.
Reece Tomko is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Xoul misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tomko shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Xoul pinned against the cage. Xoul gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Tomko closes this distance looking for a takedown but Xoul circles away. Xoul bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Xoul just content to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Xoul wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tomko keeps working. Etan Xoul has got the better of the ground game so far. Xoul cracks Tomko with an elbow. That is naaassty. Xoul working the ground and pound. Tomko is looking to reverse the position. Xoul advances nicely into full mount. BOOM! Xoul connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Xoul with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Xoul is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Tomko can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Xoul jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Tomko is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Tomko and Xoul has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Tomko takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Xoul working the ground and pound. Tomko taking a bit of punishment here - Xoul scoring with strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Xoul is looking to take a break and control but Tomko is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Xoul is staying tight to Tomko's torso, preventing him from escaping.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Xoul is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tomko knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Xoul working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Etan Xoul showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Xoul scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Xoul tries for a kimura but Tomko is defending well. Xoul tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Xoul has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Xoul working the head with strikes. Xoul in side control lands a decent elbow. Tomko tries to bench press Xoul off him but Xoul keeps the position. Xoul scoring with punches from side control. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Xoul working the ground and pound. Xoul working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Xoul wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tomko, who protects the arm well. Xoul tries for a kimura but Tomko is defending well. Xoul is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Tomko has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Xoul taking a breather here. Tomko is pushing Xoul's head away, looking to escape. Xoul manages to hold on to the position though. Xoul landing strikes. Xoul cracks Tomko with a big elbow. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Xoul tries for a kimura but Tomko is defending well. Xoul lands a few punches from side control. Xoul has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Tomko is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Xoul yanks on the arm and Tomko is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Xoul.

Davison feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Czyzewski sprawling to the canvas! Czyzewski rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Davison finish him?!
Czyzewski is rocked! I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Davison has cracked Czyzewski with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Davison lands another huge swinging hook and Czyzewski tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Czyzewski, before Davison can land any more shots!

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Aamos Berg! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, William Gold and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Berg blocks a head kick by Doe.
Doe pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Doe misses with an uppercut. Berg changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Doe tries to avoid it but Berg manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Doe to the ground. Doe escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Doe throws a sloppy head kick and Berg moves out of range easily. Doe scores with a spinning back kick! Berg tries for a takedown but Doe sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Doe throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Berg shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. John Doe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aamos Berg. Berg shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Berg is figuring out what he wants to do next. Doe makes his way to full guard, as Berg worked for a kimura.
Berg has gone for a leg lock! Doe slips out almost immediately though and dives into Berg's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Berg is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Berg can do anything to dispel that myth. Doe wants to control from the top but Berg keeps moving. Berg escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Doe gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Doe trying to stand up but can't free himself from Berg's guard.

Berg must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Berg is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Doe is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Doe has escaped and now he's on top! Berg wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
