12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Michael Sherman! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Thiago Cunha and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sherman tries to clinch there but Experiencia circles away.
A nice inside leg kick there by Sherman. That's going to slow Experiencia down. Experiencia connects with a body shot that sends Sherman's belly button to the back. Sherman moves into the clinch. Experiencia jumps guard but Sherman stands there with Experiencia around his waist. Experiencia gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Sherman creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Experiencia goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Sherman tries to throw a body punch but Experiencia avoids it by throwing Sherman back against the cage. Experiencia misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Experiencia makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Experiencia trying to stall but Sherman improves his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Experiencia scores with a shot to the side of Sherman's head. Sherman unloads a knee to the mid-section. Experiencia is working for a takedown up against the cage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Sherman steps away and waves a wobbly Experiencia back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Experiencia is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Experiencia takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Oh Experiencia is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Sherman misses with a head kick.

Quitecontrary ducks under a wild hook from Zhirkov. Zhirkov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Quitecontrary moves out of range of the leg kick from Zhirkov. Quitecontrary scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Zhirkov misses with an uppercut. Quitecontrary changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Zhirkov tries to avoid it but Quitecontrary manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Zhirkov to the ground. Zhirkov gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Quitecontrary to score an easy takedown into full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Zhirkov is adopting a defensive guard. Zhirkov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. And that's the end of the fight! Robert Zhirkov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Zhirkov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Cantrell throws a leg kick which misses Kurosawa's front leg but catches the back leg as Kurosawa tries to avoid it. Bragg prefers to stall for the moment though. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bragg fails to land a wild elbow strike.
