The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Velasquez throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Anders takes a kick to the side of the head. A thudding body kick lands there by Velasquez!
Anders lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Velasquez circles away quickly and effectively. Velasquez takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Velasquez throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Anders's head. Velasquez throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Velasquez throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Velasquez is looking to land body kicks. Velasquez keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Anders dips to his left and cracks Velasquez with an uppercut! This has been an exciting period of action! A slow jab from Anders misses its intended target. Velasquez is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stroud misses with a takedown attempt and Pendragon counters with a single leg into guard. Stroud didn't expect that. Pendragon got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stroud has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pendragon has managed to get both his arms back between Stroud's legs - danger averted. Stroud keeping full guard, as Pendragon tries to pass. Pendragon stopping the sweep attempt from Stroud. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stroud is on top in guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stroud keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Pendragon's head. Stroud stopping the sweep attempt from Pendragon. Pendragon keeping full guard, as Stroud tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stroud stopping the sweep attempt from Pendragon. Stroud missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Stroud with a flurry of punches that miss. Stroud throwing strikes but missing. Stroud throws a strike but Pendragon rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Stroud wants to sweep here but Pendragon controlling him for the moment. Stroud preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Pendragon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stroud. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stroud accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Stroud trying to control the position from guard on top but Pendragon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Stroud makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Stroud won't allow Pendragon to sweep him here. Stroud throws a big elbow that misses. Stroud drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Stroud jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stroud trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stroud throws an elbow that misses. Pendragon uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Stroud's guard. Nice move by Pendragon! Pendragon lands a couple of elbows. Pendragon is looking to work some ground and pound but Stroud has wrist control. Stroud seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Stroud manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Stroud is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Pendragon is surviving well by controlling Stroud's body position as best he can. Stroud working the ground and pound effectively.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stroud looking to ground and pound but Pendragon is blocking nicely. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Stroud cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stroud thowing shots but they're missing. Stroud raining down hammerfists from mount. Stroud has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Pendragon holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Stroud tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pendragon can do anything to dispel that myth. Stroud unloads with some shots from mount but Pendragon bucks and avoids them well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stroud throws some wild stikes that Pendragon manages to avoid easily.
Pendragon takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Stroud postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Pendragon in real trouble here! The ref calls for Pendragon to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alejandro closes the distance looking to clinch and Salace counters with a nice right hand that sends Alejandro toppling to the canvas! Alejandro scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Salace finish him?!
It looks like Marcos Alejandro has been cut. Marcos Alejandro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Alejandro tries to clinch but Salace moves away and Salace counters with a shoot takedown. Alejandro fights it but they end up in guard. Salace content to stall in guard here. Alejandro is looking to stand up but Salace isn't so interested in that idea. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Salace stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Alejandro swivels though and keeps the full guard. Alejandro keeping moving, preventing Salace from controlling successfully. Salace slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Salace looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Salace controlling the position from side mount. That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Salace trying to mount his opponent but Alejandro defends it. Salace is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Alejandro sees it coming and defends easily. Salace throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Salace is trying to work for a kimura but Alejandro is defending well.

Salace is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Alejandro is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Burr throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nixon. Nixon looks to land a combination but Burr avoids it well. Burr throws a right hand that Nixon ducks under and follows up with a left that Nixon also avoids with ease. Nixon throws a push kick but Burr slaps the foot to one side. Burr lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nixon circles away quickly and effectively. Nixon throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Burr scores with a hook to the body. And that's the end of the fight! David Nixon showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Nixon, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gray misses with a looping left. Sylar Gray seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gray looks gassed! Sparbot connects with a body shot. Sparbot sizes up Gray with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
It looks like Sylar Gray has been cut. Sparbot connects with a body shot that sends Gray's belly button to the back. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sparbot rushes Gray and presses him up against the cage. Gray takes a shot to the head. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Swanson scores with a punch to the head. Ftw tries to score a power double leg takedown but Swanson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ftw somewhat. Bjj Ftw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ftw shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Swanson sprawls well. Swanson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ftw gets slowly back to his feet. Swanson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Swanson cracks Ftw with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Swanson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ftw to stand back up!
It looks like Bjj Ftw has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ftw keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Swanson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ftw. Nigel Swanson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bjj Ftw. Swanson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Ftw fails with a takedown attempt. Ftw shoots for a double leg takedown but Swanson sprawls well. He's pushed Ftw's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Sloppy strikes from Swanson. Those never looked like landing. Ftw tries to keep at a distance but Swanson has taken the fight into the clinch. Swanson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ftw shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Swanson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ftw works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Ftw has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Swanson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ftw escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Swanson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Ftw looks gassed! Swanson chips away with some ground and pound. Swanson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Swanson in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Ftw preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Swanson postures up in Ftw's guard and throws a big left but Ftw blocks it. Swanson throwing strikes but missing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Swanson is looking to work some ground and pound but Ftw has wrist control. Swanson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Ftw looking to sweep here. No luck so far. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ftw is on top in guard.
Ftw looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Ftw tries to free his leg and advance position but Swanson is retaining full guard. Swanson managing to control the position. Ftw drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Swanson dives on top into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ftw is trying to control the position but Swanson postures up. Ftw looking for a guillotine here but Swanson defends easily.
Swanson working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Ftw's head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Swanson is in close to Ftw's body, working some short punches and elbows. Ftw has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Swanson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Ftw. Swanson working the body and head with strikes. Ftw is working to avoid the ground and pound but Swanson connects with a decent elbow. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Swanson lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. You can see the frustration on Ftw's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The referee asks Swanson politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Swanson prefers to stall for the moment though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Swanson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ftw, pushing him back against the cage. Swanson makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Swanson lands a right hand that snaps the head of Ftw backwards. Swanson breaks from the clinch.

A huge head kick from DragonBro! Deldiago is out on his feet! DragonBro rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Deldiago is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight!
