The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Mammoth throws a leg kick which misses Trester's front leg but catches the back leg as Trester tries to avoid it.
Trester tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mammoth paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Trester tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Trester takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Trester goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Mammoth throws a head kick that misses.

Mammoth moves into the clinch.
Mammoth landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Ben Trester seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Trester throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mammoth dips to his left and cracks Trester with an uppercut!
Trester throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
No joy there for Trester, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A nice leg kick lands there from Mammoth.
Trester tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mammoth was well out of range. Poor timing from Trester.
Trester throws a sloppy head kick and Mammoth moves out of range easily.
Mammoth comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Mammoth goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Trester chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mammoth can pounce on him.
Trester's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Trester throws a nice inside leg kick.

Mammoth drops Trester with a left right combo! Mammoth follows him down to the ground into side control.

Trester is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mammoth connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Trester some visible discomfort.
Trester is still in real trouble! Can Mammoth finish him?
Mammoth moves into full mount!
Mammoth pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Trester takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Mammoth's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). The Mammoth!

In his post fight interview, The Mammoth gave a big smile as he said 'I'm off to get me a feed at maccas bro. Uzes keen? Mean bro churr'.
